Aaaand I'm spent!!!! That last sentence was the funniest of them all, dizzleK. Way to use that last bubb. "Nobody cares" cause it works. We don't have to worry about sony sending bags of money and free consoles to sell faulty hardware. They just put the tech on display and let the genuine fun do the talking. I'll be testing it out when I go to Lollapalooza this weekend. I'll be sure to keep you updated on motion tech that real gamers will actually play.

badoomtish!!
badoomtish!!!
The AI in AC and Gears is dumb as rocks compared to the enemies in Uncharted, I know we haven't played AC and Gears that much when Uncharted is around, just trust me.
"UC2-There's nothing really good about U2's story once the pieces fall in place (just like the first one). It does have great animations, gfx, and online support by ND (even though it's not exactly a prolonging MP but still solid nonetheless). Having simple gameplay that hardly builds upon the original should be heralded? Sorry but gamers should demand more."
writing something's twice just because of the absurdity: "There's nothing really ...
How can you possibly say "overrated" and "this generation" and "HALO 3" isn't the first idea that comes to mind let alone not make it on the list? (I seriously lost count of how many media outlets gushed about it's visuals and story, but I fondly remember the audible "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT SHIT!?" when everyone in the world finished it... yes, simultaneously) But oh no... Uncharted 2... that was overrated.
but it's IGN's HALO:REACH CLIP OF THE DAY!!!! I mean Halo:Reach is so new and unique it needs a video showing off something everyday... like this turret thing! I mean Halo has always had flying vehicles and never mind the fact that IGN has a million articles about it explaining every little detail about it and basically matching MS's advertising campaign media bite for media bite (and never mind the fact that every other media site NEEDS to do this too, just so the product turns o...
because MK Deception is a better 3D fighter than any 3D fighting game that Capcom or SNK ever tried to make. but I guess fighters where spamming fireballs and playing "corner footsie" are legitimate pro strategies, are teh leet again, since capcom is milking nostalgia fanboys dry right now, right? There was a very good reason why capcom and snk had moved past the street fighter 2 formula of 2D fighting games and added a lot more depth, but since people forgot how stupid those games ...
but with it you can make warthog racing levels, even recreate other halo MP levels (albeit all the on map assets will look the same, I've seen Bloodgulch and Beaver Creek recreated).
edit: But that's just it, a lot of good ideas, and a lot of shitty execution. (look I'm happy with the experimentation going on in the genre, the JRPG genre wished it's devs had this level of wide-eyed optimism FPS devs have nowadays. but as it stands you have two choices in th...
and that's the problem, you're stuck with the choices of "Modern Cold War Warfare", "Modern Warfare 2; brought to you by EA", and "Halo's greatest hits... in HD!" Kinda sucky if you want a refreshing idea and not the same multiplayer you've bought several times over.
But then Bioshock came along and gave it that much needed booster shot, then Bioshock 2 came along and nerfed all the goodwill it created by giving us a lackluster story and a tacked on mp... we have enough multiplayer centered FPSs, all of them play enough alike, if you take away the artistic styles. Look at Halo, they're not even trying to keep it an FPS centered anymore that's why they have a wannabe little big planet segment in Reach, so you can have platforming and races too. Wha...
I think it would suck, but Liam Niesen as hannibal in A-Team looked like an older Drake.
If it's not Halo I'll be happy. Oni and marathon were meh, and Halo has become a self-referential joke. Hopefully they've taken notes from games that define this generation instead of keeping MS warm with one of the only exclusives they have left just because the fanbase can't move on.
There's nothing impressive about rage, yeah it runs at 60 FPS, to bad the animations are weak and the AI is ass. That's like assuming Dante's Inferno was better than God of War 3 becauase DI had a higher frame rate. It means nothing if the game itself is unimpressive, it's an empty argument that PC fanboys made a big deal out of, yet they also don't have many games to brag about, just that they're crap is smooth.
Poopface: yeah RDR was sub-HD, becau...
amirite Labwarrior?
and remember Bjorn, GOW3's blood looks better. the blood effects from splatterhouse looks very last gen.
I really hate the remake-happy mindset of game devs nowadays, new ideas please.
"Buy it, rent it, pass on it" as the final "score"?
and you still get to write a review, but you never have to deal with those confusing numbers.
Socom 4, Killzone 3, Little Big Planet 2, Echochrome 2, Resident Evil 5, Dead Space Extraction, RUSE, Heavy Rain. The move supports games with a core audience in mind first and foremost, what's Kinect focusing on? Oh that's right: "Outstupid Nintendo" is the new idea. I see the xbots have acted accordingly.
Games that don't work AREN'T FUN!!! I understand MS is trying to outstupid Nintendo, but the industry isn't drinking the kool-aid that's why MS is banking on no-namers to hype the fail.
yeah cause 3 months is soooooo far away from now. /s
