I was one of those confused people. When I started playing KH2 I never understood why Sora was sleeping, who was Roxas and Organization 8 because everything was explained in the GBA spin-off. KH is a real mess man, I have never seen any other developer making such a mess with a franchise.

publishers should offer both and let people decide what they prefer. Then sooner or later one will become more prominent than the other and you know the rest of the story.
you guys are forgetting that Sony was the first to introduce controlless gaming with the Eye-Toy. The L3 and R3 buttons that now even the Wii U has and how to forget the 4 shoulder buttons and and the cross shape of the face buttons which the Xbox copied. And that's without counting that Sony are the only company that push games that are more than just shooters or kiddy games like: Shadow of the Colossus, Heavy Rain, Ratchet & Clank, Starhawk, GT5, GOW, etc. Just look at that diversit...
Wipeout HD and Virtua Tennis are both 1080p/60fps and look really nice while Toki Tora 2 leave a lot to be desired:

I really don't understand the point to these arguments about trophies/achievement because if you don't care about them then what is the problem? Just play the games and those that do care then let them be.
PS4. GT5 is goldlike. I know they would be able to improve a couple of things here and there but nothing worth a sequel. GT6 should already be in development for PS4.
the game's an MMO with monthly fees. I think that's bad enough... This is just Square thinking that since an MMO makes more money than a normal retail game then combined with the huge popularity of the franchise they would been swimming in a pool of money right now but the strategy failed. The game itself under-performed, not even the name of DQ, the biggest and most important video game franchise in Japan can sell an MMO to people that aren't interested in the genre.

how can UC3 MP be absolutely terrible when the multiplayer is the same as the one in UC2 but with many improvements? They just added perks and that is all!

OMG, this is the game I've been waiting for! Just in time to test Windows 8 and because it has been localized then the sex scenes will be totally uncensored! I hope this version has some new death scenes too, that would be great. =p
It would depend on the circumstances. With the correct equipment and tactics Snake could take down Raiden but in a straight face to face fight then Raiden would win no doubt.

redesigning a character is not innovation. Changing the genre of a established franchise is not innovation. Changing stuff that works for stuff that doesn't like FF13 did is not innovation. Innovation is not just change for the sake of it but change that brings new stuff that works, otherwise, those are called gimmicks.
Why do we want remakes? Because it'll probably be better than the next cookie cutter game that they'll release.
