you play PS2 games on PCSX2 and they look like 10 times better than the PS3 HD collections. Because is not only the resolution and frame-rate, on the emulator you can even make the textures look much better too by using various filters.
I expected more from him, specially when he has never played the game. The exchange of messages he has with his twitter fans is even worse. When they corner him he responds with: I don't like rip-off. That's all. =/

and you think the download list will be there forever? I bet once the PS4 comes out Sony will shut-down the servers of the PS3 and everything will be lost. So if your HDD brakes you'll lose many games and is not like you'll be able to buy them used later on since they were digital only.
in the Snes days games were sold for like $80 man! This was one of the reasons why the PS1 kicked the N64's butt. $50 games on the PS1 vs $60-80 games on the N64, cartridge were simply too expensive.

I blame the marketing. The games need more exposure but Sony's at a point where they can't make a Triple A game and then put half a billion dollars toward marketing too like MS does.
The Wii U version is 30 frames = automatic fail.
I really don't think that we'll ever see a remake to be honest. Square is too lazy these days, just look at their current games. Content wise they pale by comparison to their older games on the PS2 and PS1. Remaking FF7 is simply too much work for them... FFvs seems like it'll be their biggest FF yet since FFXII but it's been in development for like 6 years with no confirmed date of release, some even think it was cancelled a long time ago!
I know more females that are interested in this game than men. In real life I know 1 and on Gamespot forums I know 4 of them. I'm always posting news about the game and making sarcastic comments about it being the best ever (because of the bikini and stuff) but those girls really doesn't care. In fact, they find it more attractive for some reason. lol

lol, that's true. I complain about the linearity of FF13 a lot but when the game opened up a little bit I liked it even less. Because I was enjoying it a little bit for what it was but I just wanted to be done with it and then Pulse dragged things for too long and I started to hate the game real bad. XD

you will never be able to perceive a difference between 1080p and 4k definition on a 50" TV anyway, so what is the point? That kind of resolution would better suited for the movie theater or a huge ass screen on a stadium.
What would be great is higher frame-rate for higher fidelity animations and gameplay.

the bullet time and other cheesy stuff they added really ruined the game for me. It's like they watched Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions way too many times before coming up with the changes. But it wasn't their fault either, it was Kojima who said to try and make the game different from the original, otherwise it would have been a great remake. ;_;
