It's not even that, this "rumor" came from HipHopGamer and Shinobi was only downplaying it. If someone had actually checked the source of this rumor, there'd be no reason to report on it, which obviously wasn't done here.

The guys developing the game are from Warsaw, so they've been working really hard to give the game the story it deserves, considering that's where it's being developed. Really interesting actually and I bet kind of mind numbing when you learn all about what happened and your developing a game that sort of relives that past.
Guerrilla Games and robot dinos got me instantly excited. Nuff said. Shinobi has been providing legitimate leak after leak so I honestly have small doubt that this is fake.
I just like to remind people when reading these articles, Shinobi and Superannuation are two insiders that you can trust. Super leaked Far Cry 4 earlier this year before the reveal, back in like February, plus other stuff. Shinobi's credentials are in the article.
They're going to upgrade the game to Unity 5 when that comes out. That's when it's going to look real good. The interview we did with them talked about the combat which also very interesting especially for a 2D Isometric RPG. There's actual physics involved rather than something like Diablo.

Honestly, there's a lot more action and RPG games that have been announced than FPS games. Really just have Destiny, Advanced Warfare, this game and one or two others this year I'm probably missing.
If it's got Battlefield in the game it'll sell more. Only reason really.
I'd suspect its a collaborated project between Visceral and DICE LA since Sweden is working on Battlefront.
