Still think it's really ballsy of them to release in October ha. I was betting on a September release, but then again, I guess the holidays are a good time to release anything.

It depends on the person. I could give two shits about getting free stuff. I don't collect gaming related items nor really wear the apparrel they hand out at events. I give most of it away.

When someone tries to make me feel bad when reviewing a game saying I'm going to actually "affect" their livelyhood with it? That's a little different.

Sympathy is a much stronger push than giving someone something for free.

I would take articles like this more seriously if they had definite proof. Which none ever do. I've been doing this stuff for five years now. The worst thing I've heard from a publisher is this line - "Keep in mind, the score that you give X will affect X's livelyhoods."

This article has nothing to do with the console "war". It's based on facts like Ubisoft's statement that they were having double the hardware sales on the PS4 over Xbox One and PC.

I agree that Sony forced Microsoft to make changes to stay competitive, which was a really good thing. Now that the Xbox One has made most of the changes it needed to make, we can now just focus on the games rather than which console is better.

We know that PS4 is a tad stronger, and most people downplay the notion of the Cloud on Xbox One right now.

GSC is pretty much disbanded though. They just own the rights to their stuff and that's about it. It'd be a better option for them to sell the franchise to someone who will do something with it.

Still dunno about these guys. It sucks that if they DO have a real product, they're not going to get anywhere near the amount they were heading towards in those first few days before word spread around it might be fake. They're doing OK updates, but still have yet to show anything tangible and that's what people want.

Sorry, but what a pointless article. Did anyone really think it'd release early next year? If EA's trying to release a yearly shooter they usually do it at the end of the year anyways.

The way people act towards each other really is just shameful in this world. I understand where she's coming from, but seriously, complaining on Twitter is the last thing you want to do, or any social media outlet for that matter. You're not going to get a good response.

Me as well. Actually two reallly good licensed looking games, Alien: Isolation and Shadow of Mordor this year.

I'd wait till you see something tangible from them. We do have an interview with them that I'm awaiting the translated answers from so depending on how that goes, who knows?

Never really been impressed with these games though. There's yet to be a sniper game, that in my opinion really is a good sniping game. Sure, the blood and gore make this fun to play for a bit, but the story has been the worst part in each game, and the AI is very wonky. Same for the Ghost Warrior series too.

Didn't know the game was THAT early in development. Will be a good long while before we see it. Cool to see in such early production though.
