Well, I had doubts about The Order based on what I was shown, but as noted above, some of my favorite games this generation have been games that were very heavy on the cinematics. Sure, open world games are fun, but their stories are never really all that great. Most of the game I enjoyed this year were very linear games.
Why does that even matter?! Jeez, don't you want a quality game. If the feedback was that critical it's a good thing the developers are going to go back and improve it, it'll make a better product in the end. The fact you have 26 agrees is really sad.
I didn't know if Alien: Isolation would be able to keep me interested in its environments through my entire playthough but it did. The lighting was honestly amazing in the game and really sold the environments. Seeing the Alien's shadow on the wall when it was nearby really creeped me the hell out.
If anyone is humiliated by how a console sold...well, there's probably bigger issues going on there.
Only positive side is the sales from these remasters probably help fund the next title in the series. And those that never played it get to.
Love how I can't differentiate between GearNuke titles and Dualshockers anymore.
OT: Game is looking great, excited to play it.
We don't have any control of the ads on our site aside from where the code is placed, so that's a tad irrelevant. Especially since we don't even have categories to differentiate Xbox news, from Wii news or PlayStation news..And the author is also not stating that the event was bad in itself, but was just billed out to be more than it really was. Over hyped by marketing I guess is the best way to say it.
Depends how much Microsoft paid for it, just like Sony did with Street Fighter. That lump sum could have been enough for them to be OK with it not going to another platform. Probably doesn't make sense in the long run revenue wise, but then again, we haven't even seen the game yet.
Actually yours shouldn't have been approved. Check the URL, the number you see that looks like this - 1636606 - shows which article is older. So if you have a higher numbered URL, then your article is newer than this one.
The "actual" game shows are really more for business. E3 is really a trade show. PSX was a community driven event for the most part, but also a marketing event. Nothing wrong with that though. Two very different events though when you look at the larger picture I think.
It's pretty good. Can't say too much because embargo stuff, but it's pretty darn challenging later on and the story is something pretty unique. Makes you think a lot I suppose both gameplay and story wise.
He clearly said he "won't do all of them" in his statement. There's no hypocrisy in Spencer's statement. They did business deals that made sense for them just as Sony has.
And I do apologize for my comment. By the amount that you wrote I didn't get the full meaning of what you were trying to say. Not defending either console either, just get easily annoyed reading comments the say it's OK for one company to do something while it's not for the...
The amount of bubbles you have sometimes really surprises me based on the ignorance of your comments. No offense intended, but I mean cmon, you can't call out the trolls like you do and then turn around and do the same thing.
Could care less if it looks like the "target render", the game just looks like a lot of fun to play which is what matters most.
The Alpha is one of the best early access games out there. Endnight has done an absolutely fantastic job updating the game on a bi-weekly basis. It'll be done soon I would imagine.
Having played it on Steam, the game is super intense. Think Alien: Isolation with multiple cannibals hiding in the trees waiting to pounce on you, or watching you while you build your base in the night.
Developers don't even know what the final resolution of a game will be until much farther along in development. The thread is, excuse my language, bullshit. He even says the game is very early in development, you really think they care about resolution and framerate right now if that's the case?
And if you read the 4Chan thread, he said he worked at Ghost Games for 80 hours and quit. Really legitimate stuff. /s
The guy said in the 4chan thread he worked at Ghost Games for 80 hours and left. It's fake.
Third party exclusives benefit no one when you really look at it. You all can complain and fight about some lame argument that shouldn't even be happening. PS4 players won't get to play Tomb Raider at release and X1 owners won't get to play Street Fighter at release.
By even fighting over something like this all you're doing is generating buzz for both parties and that helps these 3rd party exclusives live on because the lot of you will buy it out just out of...
So if someone has a negative opinion about a game they're a "hater". Wow.
Edit: The media has not just singled out The Order. Alien: Isolation ring any bells? Colonial Marines had nothing to do with Isolation, not even same developer, and people automatically assumed it would suck.
And, the point of this article isn't if it offers anything "new", more so, that people judged the game and assumed certain things based off little sni...
