The article said Developers are leaving the ps3, which they aren't. Yes some support the thing that brings investors more money, but as the ps3 gains in sales, the same exact thing is going to happen. No developers are going to make the money on the 360 as they have the PS2/WII. Its two year run is hitting 12 million units. The cheap ps3 has no BC. IIRC Sony still supports the PS2, and they are readily available to purchase if you really want to play PS2 games, or just buy the more expensive one.

Where is the game?
spent time getting the index of refraction correct for the water. Instead of just using a pixel filter to distort/reflect the world. In previous screens, you can see that the legs/limbs/rocks, that go under the warer are distorted by refraction.
This engine is amazing.
I think its just excitement.
Unfortunately most developers have convinced gamers that multiplayer equals value. Thats why we keep getting the same FPS with better graphics over and over and over and over again.
This is why I am looking forward to all of the great single player games headed our way. But with the success of FPS, its going to be hard for developers to turn to single player games that may not sell as well.

Look at Uncharted/Ratchet & Clank/Heavenly Sword and convince yourself the ps3 cant to high res textures.
