It seems like all games have to do now at days is add nonsensical DM/TDM/CTF/Zones/Control to an FPS and then its just fine.
Does Killzone2 have to do something different in your book? Add a map editor? Co-Op?

The game will have multiplayer. We can expect from the ps3's history to see 32-40 people multiplayer in non dumbed down enviornments and maps.
hair interpolation between polygons, or just spline driven hair.. Its not a pretty sight come calculation time.
Hair alone on a sphere in 3dsudiomax\Using Shave & Haircut. Or In Maya is probably 30 seconds to render at 640X480.With no shadows, or anything just to see a puff of hair. This is on a quad core machine. I doubt the PS3 could do that, AND the rest of the calculations for KZ2 at any decent rate.

Is capable of doing HD games at stable frame rates? Motorstorm, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Oblivion, Warhawk, Resistance Fall of man, etc.
I am sure you will bring up an "AAA" argument. But what does that have to do with HD games running at stable 30-60fps frame rates?

Everyone is excited that their system's multiplats (on a system thats been out since 05) Can look as good as the first wave of Playstation multiplats.
The PS3 is almost at its 1 year mark. It already has graphically superior titles. Even if you make the BS comment that HS sucks as does Lair. Every reviewer in the world backs up the Visuals of said titles. The game content is debatable, however... thats something that game developers work on. Sony didn't make Lair, nor did they ...

All killzone needs to do is be an entertaining FPS w/entertaining story, normal controls with 6 axis options.
The rest of the games engine seems to be a technological stepping stone for the way games will be made in the future. One can only hope that the entire game world can appreciate the leaps and bounds this team is trying to make here.

Again, I don't think any of you read the review. If this game were on any other system... it would be killed for having bad controls, terrible A.I, and falls short of action titles as well as RPG's.

as a "see this game is long!" Feature. Its not. Thanks to everyone and their FPS's now we will get shorter and shorter singe player games w/regular multiplayer. While they will make different quirks for it, its still running around shooting friends with no story or point. Nothing you COULDN'T DO in previous games. Warhawk is definately an ARCADE style setup. At first I was a bit irritated that it takes 1 entire machine gun to put a guy down, but then I remember how UNREAL TOURNAMENT(another arcade setup) is. I couldn't imagine how ridiculous it would be with 4 shot machine gun kills.
THere are 1 shot kills with the Sniper/Rocket/Mine (almost flame thrower hehe) and things like that.

I'm not sick of the old maps yet.. they are HUGE. And even when you scale it down, its a different experience.
The crew at naughty dog spent several months capturing 100's of animation captures for the same moves. For example, Grabbing the gun while you are running towards the right, is different than grabbing the gun from when you are running left.
Jumping onto ledges, each time the animation is different. & smoothly intergrates back into the default character pose.
