But a price cut alone? I mean is that REALLY going to drive up sales? We have no software that casuals know about. I'd say most Casuals know about halo. and they know the PS3 has a bluray player...

Forza2\PGR all have baby damage.
Baby damage means you can drive into a wall at 200+mph in your pikachu themed enzo.. and not BLOW UP or shatter the carbon fiber bodywork of the car. These games just add blemishes to the cosmetics.. Mirrors fall off etc, but no one cares.. since afterwards.. the car is as good as new. there is no penalty for doing it. Try a real SImulation like GTR2\GT-LEgends. If you DARE to wreck another persons car, you better hope...

I bought skate for the ps3. I played the 360 version and figured the Buggy Multiplayer would be solved on the ps3.. Since its network is a bit more bullet proof..
BUT NO. THe code for the MULTIPLAYER is 100% terrible. It lags like hell when you watch someone else do the trick... when you do it its fine, but its problems like this that make me want EA to stop touching games, on either system.

UT3 For the 360 is delayed for PRODUCTION REASONS. MS and EPIC cant agree on:
1. Maps for UT3
2. Custom content
3. Number of players.
This has NOTHING to do with Halo. I cant WAIT until next month when all the BS 10 million dollar sponsored Halo hype dies down. "BELIEVE." Then you play little gremlins making high pitched funny noises? Or playing against some kid cursing in the UK. Please... some Epic battle here...

The UK was only allocated 3000 units of Halo3. Including legendary(500 units)
Very easy to see how it can sell out so quickly. I believe Ireland has 800 units.
Has been clocked from 6-10 hours? Considering it isn't Sony's biggest or even known franchise. Every review of the game gives it praise for how amazingly beautiful\amazing gameplay\etc. Its ONLY shortcoming is length, which is odd, because until Heavenly Sword, I don't remember any game getting knocked for being "short"(6-10) hours.
Take a look at that "no name" sites forums. I'm glad that someone made the observation:
"Like Metroids and Zeldas, it'll get unswervingly positive reviews from people who wouldn't know narrative from nonsense, people who make sweeping misguided assumptions about the average guy jumping online and having a grand ol' time getting teabagged and called a fa**ot."
Its a action adventure game as well. It would be fun, but its not something that is needed.

HS looks beyond amazing, as does Warhawk, as does Lair.( Lair is a terrible game though).
Bots are almost to the point of hysterical fanaticism. THat guy actually said the game looks "subpar" I'd love to see a 360 "subpar" Game that compares to this "subpar" game.
It has humans in it. Thats really about it. If it looks like Gears of War, then I guess it looks Like Rainbow 6 Vegas, Unreal, Haze as well right?
The only game it looks like, is a Tombraider type game, mixed with Killswitches cover system.
I wonder when the world is going to get sick of FPS. I've never had as much fun playing a FPS as I have with an adventure game, with puzzles that at least get you to use 4% of your brains strength. Haze/Timeshift/Killzone, yeah they all look great.. but god.. its getting old.

I thought I was getting a good deal for my ps3.. never thought it would be 399. That is amazing... top of the line bluray player for 399? Plus whatever games are out & future titles.
Wonder how many casuals will buy just because of that. will be interesting to see.
