It needs gameplay glitches and terrible AI to get a 10/10 apparently. Naughty Dog cant release their games with obvious glitches though that have to be overlooked to enjoy it.

HD-DVD fans don't have the disposable income that Bluray Owners do. Its just the way it is, because YOU might have some coin, doesn't mean everyone with HD-DVD has it. If they did, BLURAY WOULDN'T BE OUTSELLING HD-DVD Discs.

A person could know all of this because its what ALL reviews all say. Mass Effect is a technical failure. But it can all be overlooked because you can pretend its a good game.

The loading glitches are unforgivable. As is the choppy framerate, and bad A.I. It has a good story yes, but.. really. I'm playing a game.. Not reading a book. The game elements all fail, and the story really isn't worth anything more than a 7.
Uncharted at an 8 is a perfectly fine score. Since scores are all made-up Bs anyway.. might as well say it got 5 golden elephants. People are impressed by this game and its load free gameplay.

Bluray makes actual disc-sales, and is continuing to. People that own bluray have the money to re-buy entire collections.
People that couldn't afford bluray.. aren't exactly rushing otu to buy $300.00+ worth of discs almost monthly.
