I am jealous.
However.. I did buy the ps3 because of Gran Turismo/MGS/Resident Evil. And whatever new showed up.
People always have.. and they always will Gran Turismo and MGS are huge fan favorites. Will it produce record breaking numbers? I doubt it. People that want it.. will get it. They will enjoy another Generation of MGS and Gran Turismo. These games have always been top notch for consoles.
But of course BLOODMASk, nothing can "SAVE" the ps3. (save from what?...

I think Mass Effect would be a good play without all the glitches.
But for now, the 360 will need good games from here out. They should keep this one.
I'd just model everything in modeler.. UV in Maya.. export the .obj's out to the unreal engine and call it a day.
I am a diehard LW user.. few and far between. I think Max has a bulletproof pipeline from it to game engines (for some reason).
As far as normal mapping... those are the same in any package.. make them in Mudbox/Zbrush and export.
If the engine takes in .objs i think we are in heaven... avoiding max would be great.
