"If you dont like Mario Odyssey you dont like videogames."
Now THAT I can get on board with! LOL
You'd be wrong. I learned my lesson with these kinds of always connected games already like Destiny, The Division, and No Mans Sky. Fun in the short term, but ultimately empty experiences. What platform this runs on has nothing to do with it. I'd much rather play games like Fallout 4, Skyrim, The Witcher 3, Zelda, or Horizon Zero Dawn. I'd much rather play a fully fleshed out single player open world than one of these always connected, co-op dependent games.
The title is ridiculous and pretty arrogant.
The game is a million miles wide and an inch deep. Sail, find treasure/supplies, guard treasure/supplies, attempt to take treasure/supplies from others, repeat. The enemy variety is extremely small. The weapon variety is extremely small. The ship variety is extremely small. The quest variety is extremely small. No towns or villages to explore. No NPC's to talk to. No interesting narrative or lore behind the world you...

I don't mean to sound all "cloak and dagger" but I am a bit miffed at all the corporate shakeup going on at Sony. Especially at a time when Sony is stronger than it's been in years.
It's not obvious to me. Control mechincs on mobile racing games are garbage compared to playing with a controller.
@XMessiah
Why? You already get to play EA games. This changes nothing for you, unless of course you're talking about having fanboy "nanny nanny boo boo" rights over fans of other consoles
if MS is looking to acquire a large company like EA, I guarantee you this is all about Game Pass. Those games will remain available for purchase on other platforms but Game Pass will be the only subscription service where you can play them.
LOL why doesn't Nintendo make the one OBVIOUS game for mobile that would lend itself well to the platform (Mario Golf)?
Don't be so short-sighted. MS isn't spending 40 billion on a company to keep their IP's exclusive to the Xbox platform. This is all about Game Pass. EA games would continue to be available for purchase on all other platforms like Minecraft is. However Game Pass will be the only subscription service where EA games could be played. This is about securing subscriptions, not selling consoles.
They have to try if they have any hopes of gaining Japanese developer support. There's a reason why titles like Dissidia Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest are exclusive to Sony/Nintendo.
"Amazon Prime."
@Spartan112g, thank you for making my point. Now you have to have two subscriptions to watch everything you desire. No doubt gaming will go the same route where you'll need an EA subscription, an Ubisoft subscription, a Bethesda subscription, etc. Gee the alll digital future sure looks bright doesn't it?
LOL they can start by telling MS "no" to an acquisition.
In terms of being one of the most disappointing games on the console? Yes, absolutely.
I want The Order 1986!
LOL it is when the original scene looked better. Open your eyes.
Deny it all he wants but I'm not friggin blind!
There's ENTIRE set pieces that have been removed from the newest build compared to the debut trailer! Just look at the beginning of the video with the stone archway. The original footage had far more texture detail and it had Norse language carved into it. That is completely missing in the new build. Also in that same scene, the original footage had several tall pine trees surrounding the archway. In the newest build thos...
I think their next hardware will be open ended. A "PC in a box" basically. I think the X1X marks the end of gated consoles for MS.
I agree. One thing I find with the DS4 is the sticks are "tighter" and more precise than the X1 sticks. The X1 sticks are looser and have more dead zone, I find. Some may prefer that but not me.
Don't forget God of War. That franchise sells a boat load of consoles.
