That's what I'm asking. Why? Why did it "wreck" JP devs while western and euro devs seemed to adapt much quicker?
Outside of a handful of titles, The PS3/360 generation saw very few quality Japanese developed games. Most of the iconic games that came out of that generation were Western/Euro developed games. It's been reported before that much of that was because Japanese developers had a very hard time transitioning from SD to HD development. I'm just interested to know why Japanese dev's struggled so hard with it while western and euro developers adapted much quicker.

Why are all these PS5 articles popping up all of a sudden? 2020 will be the year. Until then, enjoy the PS4 and it's plethora of games coming out over the next 2 years.
