Any photo can be a background on 360. So just make what you want in photoshop or similar
55" on amazon for £3,250. I may pick one up next year when they drop to £2000 ish. I paid £4500 for my first Pioneer 47" 1080i tv 12 years ago or so. So doesn't seem to bad a deal.

I have no problem going to LCD, but they should have upped the screen rez, 960 x 544 is lower than my phone, should be at least been 720p

I moved to windows 8, works like 7 when you flip to desktop. But metro is good for quick glance at new email, appointments etc also some good apps in store now. But like @cgoodno, I would like one monitor with the metro screen and my other 2 with the desktop on. Win8 works great on my tablet and even my 8 year old son is a wiz with it, he was showing my wife how to personalise her profile! so it's not difficult to pick up and use.
I like it, it will sit well with my other devices. It's about time someone made a gaming box that matches DVD, PVR players etc.
Apple is worse, with their closed ecosystem and over priced products. $40 a year is not that big a deal

I was happy with the DRM thing, I never sell games and having the option for diskless gaming was a big plus. I will probably go all digital now. But I can see why some people didn't like it.
It's not a war ( well it is on N4G) most gamers have both systems. I play games not consoles.
This will be good, been playing WRC2 (Xbox360) but no servers online, so some achievements are not obtainable.
