If it is to be a legitimate system seller, which Microsoft is investing heavily to make it so, then it will need to be able to stand toe-to-toe with the major exclusives from the rival console. If it couldn't do that, especially with the rival being a completely different genre, it wouldn't be worth the investment Microsoft has poured into it.

Because most of it is crap, and I'm usually so annoyed by the constant "Buy this super powerup" ads I actively try to spite them. If only they got the message.
Didn't I also read the launch coincided with the worst snows in decades in some areas of Japan? It was apparently so bad that Amazon was E-mailing people to tell them their delivery was delayed because the drivers couldn't make it on time. But it's worrying that people didn't make it out to buy a gaming console? No, getting a PS4 isn't worth getting into a wreck.
It's funny, I'd never heard about PS4 games being foggy until a couple of days ago on N4G. I tried to google "PS4, fog" etc, and I got a lot of results asking why the X1 was so much foggier/blurrier.

That part caught my attention as well, somebody should bring up the BF4 screen comparos before launch where the X1 power lines looked like crap, among other things.
I've heard people complain that IGN is too Sony-fanboyish, but Colin and Greg will bitch and moan about things they don't like in a game or feature. Leading up to the X1 launch, Ryan sucked off so much XBox wang he had green flowing out of his eyes.
Be glad your expensive vehicle snafu happened before you spent lots of money on gaming, instead of buying the gaming stuff and then pinching pennies to try to fix the essentials. Take it from somebody that's...done it the other way.
