would they have sold that many if there were less demand for them coz they werent holding them back.

If Killzone is delayed too it looks like all the good games are coming mid to late 2008. GT5, Killzone 2, GTA IV (almost), MGS4 (almost), LBP...
You got to be a bit of a noob to buy these players now in you're in the know. Theres no support for "Full View" therefore in a year, there will be alot of titles you cant play (or play to the full)
This would get me to buy a Sony Erricson phone if this feature is really good.

Thats why a big company like Warner need to pick sides. That way they can end the format war (if warner go blu) and they will sell more high-def movies in return.
Someone has to take the initiative and stop going multiplatform. This includes retailers and manufacturers as well as Warner.
