The European adverts target different people. They also stay in your mind, even if they are wierd.
Picture the scene. You wanna watch TV. So you turn the TV on. Turn your PS3 on. Wait for the Sony logo to disappear. Navigate to the XMB icon. Then select live TV and finally you get to watch digital TV.
Or you have a set top box which you would likely keep it on all the time anyway (Otherwise hit the button once) and you're already set.
It could get very frustrating to go though all the hassle to watch some damn TV!
I thought everyone knew it was 2 from the beginning. Anyway 50 million is alot of money considering HD DVD paid just 3 times that to get Paramount and Dreamworks exclusive for 18 months.

On play.com (UK Retailer) it has the date as 18th January and has a countdown meter. On amazon.com (not .co.uk) it says March 18th.
Maybe its different in US and UK.

They deny it but i dont know. If they introduce this then it probably will be the same as the 60GB price and maybe even include DS3 controllers. Either that or the 40GB goes to £250, and 80GB goes at £299. Any remaining 60GBs would be in between but its unlikely you will find any for sale NEW by then.

Ok before i install it, is this like Vista where when you install it, it keeps all your other files( vidoes, music, installed programs)?

I agree that it has its uses but for everyday standard usage its best to pay £20-£30 but an ordinary box... doesnt take much space.
