im not sure, i love the SP in Uncharted so much that a multi-player component really wasnt necessary and im glad they put all their focus/resources on the Single-Player campaign.
However, i think if it is done right would be a great addition and make an already incredible game even better.
As for co-op, i think that would be great, however i wouldnt like it if you couldnt complete the game without the other player and if offline had to be controlled by AI - like RE5. I real...

Also, instead of paying for exclusives only on their platform, sony still have all the multi-plat games on their console + all of their first party exclusives which often turn out better than the third party ones *cough* GTA IV *cough*

How do you know Heavy Rain is a niche title ? all we know is that the user will have alot of freedom of the actions they choose etc, it is a heavily story based game (my type of game) and really thats all we know.
As for Rachet & Clank, it may not be a HUGE blockbuster (didnt say it was) but they are still high-quality fun games to play that alot of gamers will prefer over other games.

^^ I dont know about MAG, we havent really seen enough of it to get too excited, i thought they would have shown more by now, since its almost a year since they announced it !
But i think it will be a good game, my top list is Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain and God of War 3, MW2 can wait a few months lol.
The sooner i get it the better but i really think this will release closer to the holidays, unless they are saving God of War 3 for then, or heavey rain, or MAG, or Rachet & Clank, or.....

Its prob because the user becomes lost and bored as they stop doing the missions and just messing around since it is left up to them.

It doesnt matter if more people play it if there are still millions playing on PSN, you join a game and it always fills up - having an extra 4 million online wont make a difference to you, as long as your games are still filling up.
Also, you will have to pay to play online with LIVE, its free on PSN so its actually better if you buy it for PS3 with your friends lol. As for people with mics, ...

i think they will just show off some multi-plats as though they are only on 360 *cough* GTA IV, RE5 *cough* and announce a big previous exclusive to ps3 that they have bought out (like MGS5 or something).
Still wont make up for lack of games this year, even if they buy another exclusive, it may create buzz etc but after a few weeks gamers will realise that actually it doesnt matter since they still have barely any exclusives this year. Especially when compared to PS3's line-up ! ...
i had a thought that maybe this and the new motorstorm are being made for the PSP2 ? i mean they could announce it this E3 and have some really great games at launch.
they have been saying this will be the biggest E3 in the last 11 years so it must be something like this. Or atleast an improved model which features improved graphics capabilities.
I think Infamous looks like a better made game, more stable and looks to actually have a story you care about, not to mention the graphics/sound etc

i bought warhawk off PSN and i know loads of other people who did also, id guess that just over 1 million bought it all together.
It was like the first proper game to release on PSN, that was sold in-stores aswell, loads of people wanted to see the difference/improvements etc.

Well, i REALLY dont think they would wait untill E3 to announce a game if it was coming out in 09 !! so basically what they have announced now is what you are going to get. Since when did companies announce games and release them like 3 months later ?!
Yahoo are actually known for their ps3 bashing !! i seem to remember a number of "PS3 will fail" "ps3 not worth money" "ps3 has no games(lol)" from them.
After a while of praise and good press, people become bored, and the only thing left to do is to start bashing that which they have praised and start talking about how it is failing/going to fail.
my NAN has a wii !! its officially reached the casual market.
The problem is they dont buy games, my nan thought there were no other games for it except "Wii Fit" and "Wii play/sports" !! (although thats not far from the truth lol)
If the games dont sell, third partys wont spend many resources developing for it, thus no games worth buying, thus the failure of the Wii
