I love the wii. I don't think anyone really hates it now so five years time won't make a difference. I think if the wiiU hits it stride we might see a little more prreciation for some of the overlooked classics on it to be honest.
I think its just a crying shame that it launched with twighlight princess instead of Skyward Sword. SS is the best showcase of how great motion controls can be done right. Same goes for Red Steel 2 come to think of it.
Its a nice thought, but SEGA just aren't the company they used to be. Yu Suzuki has left for a start.
they also don't have the money to be able to do it. They're not broke but they're certainly not in a position to even consider manufacturing a new console.
Personally I think they should buddy up with nintendo. Between the two of them and their insane combined back catalogue they could make one hell of a console, with some fantastic games.
He can't understand what made ocarina special.. Its the first openworld 3d game and the first tome the series was in 3d too. Its ground breaking you dolt. Also the stories epic, it looked amazing a tthe time and is still just as entertaining now as it was all those many moons ago.
MGS 4 is 28gb on the ps3 with every language on the sun included on the disc and very little compression.
Each 360 disc and hold just over 8gb of data. so in theory with a little squeezing and lacalising of the actual media. you could fit the whole game on 3 discs, Four max.
Considering its broken down into chapters it wouldn't be the end of the world having to change discs anyway.

I pretty much agree with the list order. I'd put shattered memories ahead of Downpour though.
It was just wonderful in all the ways a silent hill should be. tense, tiring, and had a final act that was just mind blowing.
Yeah the chase sequences got a little old but thats the only downside.
It gets the hate because it isn't really a silent hill game. they just renamed and rjiggered it a little.
I'm not bashing its quality because its still a great game.

Yes Sony has shown off 6 games. I bet when the console actually launches we might see one or two actually get relased along side the ps4. The same number that Nintendo have with the wiiU.

I think the only problem i really have with ascension apart from a game breaking glitch i encountered where the time amulet fucked up on one occasion. Is the storyline.

As much as i love Monolithsoft i wouldn't call them Xenoblade 2 the wiiUs finaly fantasy VII that honour will go to The Last Story 2. Mystwalker ARE the folks behind classic Square games.
By the end of the year, the wiiU is going to have some fine exclusives and more on the horizon.
If they knock the price down to thae impulse buy sweet spot of £200 by next christmas coupled with Wind Waker HD, Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3 Wonderful 101 and all the usual suspect s that haven't been announced yet i could see sales pick up no end.

You're probably right that they'd still stock it. But they pobably would make almost no money off of it because margins for new consoles and games are tiny compared to what most places make on used game sales.
