I think it'll be partial at best. If its like the WiiU, then you'll be able to move all your downloaded titles to it. You just wont be able to play any disc based games on it.

Yeah, its an argument that no longer holds any weight. There are other better methods for moving data than discs. You do realise that the only thing your xbone or ps4 does wuith the disc is install the game right. it doesn't actually run off it at all. the speed of the blu ray drive is too slow.

Ratchet and Clank was pretty damn good. Prince of Persia was a perfectly good movie, even if it didn't follow the games that closely. All the animated movies Capcom have put out over the years have been pretty damn good too.

Oh I would love a remaster of Witcher 2 for the PS4. The first one would have to be a full remake though because its a very different game.
They never owned it. Universal did, then they got bought by Sierra, now Activision own it. Doesn't mean there wont be a new PS4 exclusive reboot of the series, but at least get your facts straight.

Really. you want zero 3rd party support, games to cost twice as much as the playstation. and only a handful of decent games.

A handheld/console hybrid, that can potentially ( according to the patent) use other devices to boost its own power. It's never been done before. Sounds pretty innovative to me.
Nintendo have never focused on third party game support... Ever. The funny thing is that that Wii actually had pretty decent third party support for a Nintendo system. Now if we're going to talk about where it all went wrong for nintendo and third parties that would be the N64. If they hadn't been so stand offish with third parties and given it a CD drive it would have had both Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid as exclusives.

I like that they're avoiding the holidays. The NX isn't a toy, its a piece of tech. I don't understand why its fine to launch a new TV,mobile or other bit of tech whenever. But a game's consoel can only come out in november. Come on, we're past this now. The average age of a gamer is 30 odd now. We have money, we have commitments. we now know that if we want an nx at launch we have the best part of a year to squirrel away the cash for it.

Really, The American/ European version of Devil's Third is identical to the Japanese one. all the rsique costumes made it into Fatal Frame as well.

i don't understand why people keep banging on about this. Manhunt was censored, this is localisation. You know what will happen if Nintendo released the uncut Japanese version as is in the US.. It would get an M rating. I think Ninty will be aiming for a T.
The Wii used DVDs the wiiu uses blurays. they're just formatted differently. In fact if you mod your wii you can use it as a standard dvd player via an app in the homebrew channel.
