XBox1080 would be a better name.
1080p HD
and
1080 degrees for 3 full turns = Xbox3.
I think next gen games have to be more open and interactive without the performance drop.
An open world RPG/MMO style game with fully destructive and interactive environments, realistic AI and current gen graphics is far more appealing to me than a linear FPS with life like graphics.
I think an 8 would suggest it's a great game. For a game to be considered for GOTY it has to be a step up from that, it has to at least be considered the best in it's genre.
With the plethora of excellent games we have had this year an 8/10 game is not good enough to be in contention.
"A review should be based on the reviewer's own personal opinion. Anything else is selling out."
That's how I would define a consumer review, but let's face it, most 'professional game reviewers' ARE merely consumers just like us. The vast majority of them are no more qualified than most of us to write 'professional' reviews.
A professional review should be more than just an opinion piece, any idiot with an internet conne...

Good list but it's got to be Radec over Sev as the KZ character.
@gamingdroid
I seem to remember sony marketing the ps3 in the early days as an all in one entertainment hub and more than just a gaming console. The adverts in those days seemed a bit disjointed and confusing IMO, but in hindsight I think they were just a bit ahead of themselves.
When I first bought the ps3 it was by no means an all in one entertainment device (although it was the most affordable blu ray player on the market, it came with a HDD as standard so...
@egidem and darth72
The article is about Microsoft releasing a commercial version of kinect, what are you guys on about?
It doesn't sound too dissimilar to sonys move.me, so I really don't know what the articles title is all about either???
he also appeared in a couple of episodes of everybody loves raymond.
Love this game with the Move, definitely buying infamous 2 when it gets patched.
Thanks I've noticed a few people descrbing this game as fantastic, so just had to do it.
Spent a couple of hours on this last night and it is great, as someone in another post said - this is what DLC should be.
The Move controls are fangtastic and I'm definately picking up Infamous 2 now once it's patched. Batman AC would also be great with the same Move controls.
Just finished a 2 hour stint and it's a very fun game.
I never did finish infamous as I didn't really like the controls and therefore have never picked up infamous 2, but the Move controls here make for a very fluent and accurate experience.
The deadzone and camera control are the best I've seen in a Move enabled game. During the tutorial at the beginning it asked me to point off screen, I thrusted and jerked the Move to each side as quickly as I ...
Cheers for the input yesmynameissumo and Ares90, looking forward to trying this out, it's only at 55% downloaded though so it'll be another hour or so yet.
This review speaks very highly of the Move controls and that's why I've decided to give it a go, downloading right now but at almost 4GBs it's going to take a good few hours.
I'd have to suggest you give it at least a couple of hours with the Move before writing your review though. Others reviewers have not mentioned it much and I'd guess there are alot of people wanting to know how well it controls.
Did you play with Move as according to this review it the best use of Move they've seen.
"Does it track head, shoulders, arms, hips, legs and feet movement?"
Yes or No
"You simply swing naturally and the distance of the ball is determined by how the camera interprets the power of your swing."
But does it track shoulders, hips, legs and feet or is it just arms? How is the power determined? By how far you swing back or the speed you swing your arms? Is direction determined by how well you swing or do you line up you...
A simple 'no' would have sufficed.
"Ther golf alone has never been done with full body tracking."
That sounds impressive, I wondered how golf on Kinect could possibly equal or better the Wii or Move.
How does the full body tracking work on golf?
Can you use a real club if you have the room? and does it make a difference?
Does it track head, shoulders, arms, hips, legs and feet movement?
If so, how accurate is it?
Is it possible to top the ball if you l...
A new Halo game exclusive to a new console would be a huge incentive for any Halo fan to take the leap to new gen hardware.
Why would Microsoft not take advantage of that?
