I don't like COD but it is a great move for Sony because many people do like it and they Sony will benefit for this.

Team ICO games are games that is best experienced. The atmosphere, the music, art style plays alot of what the game is that it is really hard to describe it.

Fan service yes and that is exactly why it was such a big deal for many people including the majority of the media and why we are seeing articles like this being written.
Sony or MS can announce as many new IP's as they want but fan fav will always get more attention as it is obvious from this conference.

I am a 35 year old gamer since 1986 and I love playing LBP by myself but especially with my kids.
Nothing beats seeing the smiles on their faces or the laughter we get working together or some light competition with them on LBP.
Still some people will still question Sony when it comes to games lol!. They have not shown their biggest game which is GT let alone SM's new game, Cambridge etc etc.

You would think a much loved PC franchise that made it to the x360 last gen would have sold more on these two platform/brands individually than the PS which just now gets a Witcher. More so the PC version.

You must be a very young person to think that persona is not a major game.
You must understand that Shenmue 3 alone in any convention would bring the house down. Add FF7 remake and it is something else. The only other thing as big as these two announcement is a Half life 3 announcement.
Games in 3 months or new IP's or any new gaming features really do not factor much compare to these announcements when it comes to many existing core gamers that have been waiting years for these to happen.
