Amen to that. Paperboy and hard cheese on the zx spectrum are my first gaming memories, but Alex Kidd in miracle world on the master system is the reason I really got into gaming as a 6 year old boy.

This thread is a big part of what is wrong with gaming. When did it stop being about having fu and start being about picking a side and supporting them to the death. I really am not a fan of ms due to what they have done to my favourite franchises of all time but the stuff they have done in the past week is exciting.
Just because the games arent on my console of choce doesnt mean the likes of sunset overdrive doesnt look amazing. And guess what else, if ms start to fire out ...

It makes me both worried and excited to see what Rare can do with the classic n64 franchises. If they nail them Im getting an x1 if they screw it up, Im getting rid of my pc, buying an Imac or whatever the yuppies are using these days, wearing cords and never buying or using another ms product again.

Lets be honest. No launch lineup evrr shows off the capability of the system as devs are under pressure to get their games ready for launch. IMO this is why Forza felt watered down in terms of content. They wanted to show off the power so it has to look amazing but even the most hardcore xbox fan cant have missed the diference in content between this and horizon.
The beauty of next gen is that the absolute gems are about to drop. Watch dogs, Halo, Uncharted, The Order, Spark...
No gen 9 console will go digital only. Its the same as mp3 and cds. Yes the market may shift towards a bigger market share for digital offerings, however it will never replace that feeling you get when you rip open the celephane of the beautifully detailed boxart to find a cd inside with more brilliant art adorning the disc.
Before popping it in and waiting for the day 1 patch to download and install while you eat your dinner.
Tbh I am clearly a complete sucker because I have never played any of the dynasty warriors games but because this is a Zelda universe game its on the day 1 list. I am an unashamed fanboy who would pretty much buy a turd if they wrapped it up and called it a Nintenturd. At least I know who I am.

TBH I think people were getting more mad at your insistance that more points should be docked due to a weak battle mode given that the actual racing is universally praised. That being said I agree a lot of the Nintendo fanboys on here can be ridic at times.
