Its gone now, lets see if they offer a refund to anyone who paid for the demo. If they dont, id say this is about to become an actual thing. Stick the beta on console online marketplaces 1 month before release and make people pay to test the game.

People criticise them for overusing their mascots and now they dont use them and go full on new ip but then folks wonder why they havent used theirmascots.

On second viewing its more of an acknowledgement that there is a massive opportunity for Nintendo to exploit genre fatigue given the volume and attention given to military shooters with bleak backgrounds. Guess this is where stuff like splatoon and giant robot have come from.

There was f1 on n64 but thats pretty much all there has been, so for sole nintendo customers its a pretty big deal. I shall be getting the WiiU version because its my console of choice so like to support 3rd party titles on it but I acknowledge im in the minority here.
The thing that everyone seems to be missing here is that there aint a racing sim even remotely like this on wiiu. The closest youve got is nfsmwu which is great but its not a racing sim.
I wouldnt be surprised to see this sell well on WiiU and a bundle may not be a bad shout, although its out at around the same time as Smash so id imagine that would get more attention.
Agreed this isnt some competition to the execs, its about making profit. The only reason they give 2 craps about MS is that they are taking some of their market. If Sony sells 100 million this gen and MS sells 101 million, Sony wont care because they will still have made a profit, which for them is a massive deal right now.
So I looked at the title clicked on the article and still have no idea what you are on about. The article is describing an interview with a game developer who have offered up news about the way they are working on the EU release whilst explaining the platform its on.

Jeez you cant wait to troll every Nintendo article huh? FWIW game came out 4 weeks ago and I am still playing it pretty much non stop. Game isnt short if you want to 3 star everything and online is incredible.
See this is where I disagree with you. Its not that they are out of touch, its that they arent trying to be in touch with anyone.
This is the whole point of Nintendos philosophy, they come up with ideas then go "Does that sound fun? Yeah lets make it" whereas Sony would tend to go "Right here is our core audience what would they enjoy"
Neither philosophy is wrong, I personally prefer Nintendos approach because the devs seem to get more in...
