BF is not a sim, it never was. It has always been inaccurate. They want to lean into it? Cool, just make sure it's fun that's all that matters. There was CLEAR tension between the three characters, and more going on than worrying about who likes what. Ellie clearly wasn't interested in talking about Joel, but he will figure into the story.

You uhhh forget the massive red herring in Heavy Rain. It very explicitly gives you the impression Ethan is the killer, who ends up being the killer is so far out of left field it makes all of your actions playing as him make zero sense, unless you're coming from it with the information that he's the killer.

Unmatched might be a bit of hyperbole, but that game IS a trip from beginning to end in a way 99.9% of games released haven't even approached. It tells a contained character driven story that allows something like the end to be something that you hated Joel for, but you understood where he was coming from.

The hardware differences don't really matter, it hasn't mattered for years with the PC I don't understand why it would matter now? If you're looking to play competitive Smite or Overwatch you're not doing that on a console anyways.

Exclusives, exclusively don't sell consoles. There is more than one factor to someone deciding to buy a console, believe it or not a very large portion of the people who bought a PS4 don't give a hoot about Yakuza, Horizon or Detroit.
