Female Roman Generals have a 0% chance of spawning, the models don't exist it's the same for Greek states, Carthage and a few others. One faction has a 50% chance of a female general, but most that do are between 5-10%.
No one is changing history through video games, games like movies have always been a springboard to learn more about a time in history, NOT a resource. Do you think if I wanted to brush up on the Pacific theatre/Eastern front I'd pop in World at ...
"The update that added women to the game came out six months ago, on 20th March"
""Female characters appear throughout the game, but have between a 10 to 15 per cent chance of appearing as recruitable generals for some of the playable factions. The exceptions are the Greek States, Rome, Carthage and some Eastern factions, which have a 0 per cent chance, and Kush which has a 50 per cent chance. This is to broadly represent the cultural differences in thos...
There are no female Roman or Greek generals.
I guess it's good the spawn rate on female Roman generals is zero and the game doesn't even have a female Roman/Greek model. This is also an update from MONTHS ago, don't you kinda see the image you're presenting freaking out over a non issue MONTHS later?
Wow, you must be important.
The age ratings on the title ARE NOT censorship. What's up with people's fixation with that word of late?
The expectation that the 2000 series was going to make 4k at 60fps+ a reality was always a pipe dream. There was a time when the high end cards of the day couldn't max out every game at 1080/1200p.
Remember, Ultra being one step above high doesn't mean that the performance deficit scales linearly. It has never worked that way with PC games, so I'm a little stumped as for why you would use a metric like that.
The gun play feels like garbage, I'm totally shocked people like the audio when all the guns sound like garbage and that armor hit sound is hilarious. At least on the PC, I'm really not seeing the appeal especially when the gameplay doesn't feel QUITE like regular MP CoD.
Use cases vary from person to person, 1440p/165hz takes a bit more than a 1060 to get to, even a 1070 can't do that on every game at max settings.
I thought it was funny.
@Sciurus_vulgaris
Battlefield has never been historically accurate, if it was things like Project Reality or Forgotten Hope wouldn't have been a thing. Hell even the Vietnam mod for 1942 (Eve of Destruction) offered more vehicles, larger maps and more weapon variety than Battlefield Vietnam.
You guys are talking Authenticity in the series where Tunnel helicopters are a regular occurrence, running forward on wings kept you on them, you can jump from vehicle to v...
Listen if EA or Battlefield wants NO SPEECH in their titles it's up to them. The publisher or developer saying "This language IS acceptable, and this language ISN'T acceptable." Is NOT censorship. How on earth you simple people could possibly try to link publishers trying to keep racial slurs and homophobic language out of THEIR games to the formation and rise to power of the Nazi party sure is stupid. When EA burns down a shelter for LGBT people, and then blames it on Alt R...
@Segata
You can't possibly put a Bethesda game like Skyrim or Fallout, and compare it to Xenoblade. They aren't even on the same level complexity wise, it's mind boggling people don't understand this.
If they decide to make a game I want to pay for then, yeah I'm going to "support" EA with my money. That all being said, it's easier than being an internet crusader and has the added benefit of not making me look like the most over the top, self righteous, boring person imaginable. I imagine you're the type of person who sneers inside when you visit a persons place and see they have CoD and sports titles on the shelf.

They're trade press, like people who cover the automotive industry. It's not journalism.
Or you could just take yourself less seriously? There is that.
Preview builds and E3 builds are not to be taken as final. Anything and everything potentially change, that's the way things have ALWAYS been when it comes to previews. Could you get anymore melodramatic about this? It's an entertainment product, not a pacemaker or something vital.
Nah, this is pretty worthy of ridicule.
@haydenlake
What are you even talking about?
This is a great indicator of how some people on this site lack ANY reading comprehension ability.
Says the guy who doesn't play Total War.
0% chance for Romans, greeks, Carthage.
10-15% for some other states.
"Ermahgerd my immersion! It's been gehstohlen!"
You guys are sad people.
