It's what most new PC players don't seem to grasp, every time something major comes along it hammers current cards. It doesn't mean the cards are a "POS disaster", the 2070 is 20% faster than a stock 1080 and 45-50% faster than a 1070; Sounds pretty good to me. That all being said, if AMD came out with something half way decent than maybe Nvidia wouldn't be in a position to charge whatever they wanted for 2080/2080 TI level performance.

You're missing Ghosts of Tsushima, Dreams and The Last of Us. So even if that's all they have for 2019, Sony still has a solid year of known quantities.
They gain nothing showing off TLOU 2 again, what if the money spent on E3 was put towards properly advertising Ghosts of Tsushima or Dreams? That sounds better to me than an E3 dominated by games you already knew about.
Personally I've never been on the hate EA train, I just simply don't purchase the games that ruffle the wrong feathers or engage with mt's.
But I'm just pointing out, Battlefield has never been about the campaign. BF1942 all the way to 2142 had zero SP beyond bot matches. Bad Company 1 to Hardline had proper campaigns but even with those campaigns spending full price on BF4 at launch specifically for SP was a bad move.

Battlefield has always been an arcade shooter, bullet drop or not you're just running around a map in a manner that would make any officer tear their hair out. You want realism, you play Red Orchestra 2, ArmA or Squad. Battlefield has NEVER been realistic, hell often their historical titles like Vietnam, 1942, BF1 and now BFV have had hilarious inaccuracies in weaponry, vehicles and uniforms. There...

I've been playing the game for a few days now, it's fine. It's basically like all the other modern Battlefield games, but you know... this one is some great travesty.
