I thought that what would make HOME a killer app is if they integrated the whole thing in the XMB (somehow). I think that ease of access is the way to go. Just look at the playstation store, HWO-HAHA!!
Its the opposite with me. I've lost hype for this network expansion, or "game." Why? They're about to release HOME 2-3 seasons (8-10 months) late from the ORIGINAL release date of last fall. I was hyped last year when they announced home on last years E3. Are we going to see it unreleased for this years E3 as well?
I've officially lost interest.

Lets not jump into conclusions here just yet. I'm on the same boat as you; I too have my doubts about the picture being anything you'd find in a game. But there is nothing indicating that it is an in-game, CGI, cut scene, or concept art screen shot.
I think that when the appropriate pictures come out (ya know, the ones where detailed information ABOUT the shot is given?), i'll start getting hyped.

If I could say that XBOX LIVE is miles better than what Sony has to offer, then I would. But to be honest, I can't. XBOX LIVE is a great service, but it's only a small step ahead of what Sony is doing, or even what PC Multiplayer is.
So, i'm just gonna be blunt and say that I hope you 360 owners get a kick out of this game, because I had an absolute blast when I played Gears of War when I owned an XBox 360.
The thing with the PS3, why they "force" all these things on you, is because all these features come in one box for a lower price, rather than buying the separate HD Drive, or Rechargeables, or Wireless Adaptor. And not once in my life have I ever needed to use 2+ USB ports on my PS3, its only been 1, or 2, but not all 4.
I appreciate the 360's way of letting you choose however. I could do away with the blu-ray drive, I never watch movies.
