30 vs. 30 is a great thing, and a new milestone in multiplayer FPS console gaming. Just think about it, each squad interacts with each other as a unit. When one sector is taken, they move on to another sector. If one side is decidedly better than the other, then just think about multiple squads vs. multiple squads. One squad flanking another squad pinning another squad after having taken a sector, other squads backing each other. One side finally surrounds the other side in one sector and jus...
Thats because your discerning from an internet video of an unreleased game to an actual game thats already been rated, reviewed, and played.
O_o
I think he meant pizazz.
I think the site needs more material. Its sleek and stylish (pretty), but it only has a few stories. The one on firmware 2.40 could hardly be called a story.
Does it come in red?
:s
It seems like nowadays, people are judging an entire $60 game on a 1GB demo, and thats probably where all the hate is being generated from.
To me, its just ridiculous, and I agree with you. Same thing with HAZE. Play the game first, and judge it from that. Not the demo.
When you start wearing your consoles logo to sleep, then you know you're a hardcore gamer.
This is the PC version. If you like it, seriously get the PS3 version. It has a MAJOR graphical overhaul to it.
Killzone 2 lets you cover and kill the helghast, and they'll die corresponding to the bullet entry point--
*looks at sackboy*
cuuuuuuuuuute!! \^o^/
I agree that a game shouldn't be judged and thrown away because of its resolution, but I also think that the resolution is an important factor in this generation of gaming. I mean, when I played the HAZE demo (said to run at sub 570p?), I could see all the pixelated shrubs, pixelated ship fragments, it was okay. I loved the gameplay though. But when I play a game like Warhawk (720p), I'm in love with it all over again because the lines are so smooth, and everything is so tightly colored...its...
I don't care for 1080p, because I only have a 720p/1080i tv, so this is all the better for me.
They should've released a demo that WAS in HD, not like the sub-HD one they recently released. People would have liked the graphics a lot more, and it wouldn't be getting as much flak as it's getting now.
judging by a year old demo...
tsk tsk tsk
booo!
get off the stage!
A first-person shooter is a first-person shooter. They're all different in their own way except one thing: You shoot in the first person! Of course its going to be generic in some way or another. Even COD4 was generic in its own respect.
This game takes the run and gun characteristics of the typical FPS, and turns it into a stop and pop type of gameplay you would normally find in Third Person Shooters.
COD4 is a great game, but it doesn't have a First Person cover sy...
Both lists look awesome. Being a PS3 owner, i'm looking forward to the PS3's list more.
I just wish all this fanboy nonsense would stop, and people would appreciate the games for what they are, not for who they represent.
I agree.
They have nothing but good things to say about themselves. No mudslinging, just optimism.
Microsoft in the other hand, no optimism or friendly competition, only mudslinging and greed (french found out that MS is selling used consoles as new?).
comical mischief
gotta love it, lololol
A high ranking official of a corporation downplaying its competition, yeah. Real mature.
Microsoft (this guy and Shane Kim) NEVER EVER EVER shut their mouth, do they?
"but as for the rebel group, either the same guys fight over and over again, or they’ve somehow figured out cloning by 2048."
That one made me laugh. Its like they expected 50 different rebel characters. In every game, you'll always see the same person.
