What can't you get around your head? Its both a gaming console and a media player. Sony's working for BOTH aspects. I'm using it as a gaming console NOW, and i'm enjoying it that way. I don't need Halo or Gears of War, the PS3 has its own great games.

As far as baby steps go, this is another step for the PS3's movie functionality. As misunderstood by the giant crab up there, this does not imply that Sony is neglecting its gaming functionality (rather in my opinion, its doing just fine).

The reason why PSN has more mature audiences speaking into the microphones is because it is they who spend $20 or so to communicate with each other, and I'm sure that the pure reason why microphones were integrated into online gaming was to strategize with your "clan" or team.

Your only being the very character your condemning. You may say that PSN may seem different, but I can attest against that by simply saying that I know whats on PSN, and you don't. I can also say that I know what good games that are on the PS3, you don't, and from my stand point, the PS3 isn't "lacking" any good games. How do I know all these things? Its simple really.
