Its not quite gamepass. but its much closer, and lets face it... the quality of those game (regardless of age) makes it a very worthwhile addition and brings any gap between the 2 sets of services much closer.

Fact is though.. the most powerful digital only console will be a playstation. So as long as the DE is as close as possible to the little series s. PS will be fine.

thing is... MS will get that money elsewhere... either from consumer or via a drop in quality or removal of a service (maybe reduce the 4 free games to 2 or something). that price hike and its financial implications will have been planned long ago.
