Short... but EPIC :)
I hate them all, along with "Sazch."
Worst characters created, all whitewashed "pretty- people." That's crap I don't want to see in games.
Now FF7 had guys that looked like... guys. Ever seen Barret? Nothing whitewashed about him.
And Tifa will kick Lightning's a$$ any day, along with all her FF13 friends.
"The story to VII was good, just didn't care for the 2 biggest characters"
Wait... what? How do you like the story but don't care for the whole reason of its existence? Well whatever, you admitted the story is good :3
Buddy, Cloud single-handedly took down the most powerfull being in the universe... no not Frieza.
Cloud isn't really emo, you know, his mind was f*cked up badly from Mako poisoning. That's like being a cocaine addict x100 so of course he's damn miserable! On top of that, his love was killed before his eyes.
Now how do you NOT expect him to be miserable? He has good reason to be.
Yes. They'd probably make FF13-3 before remaking the most EPIC game they've made.
Hell, they might as well sell the FF7 rights to a company with workers that probably understand FF7 far more than Square does anymore.
@Tanir
Crisis Core is indeed amazing, but you know why? Because it's a branch off FF7... you know, back when their games weren't "good," they were EPIC.
You'll love it. TM was a PS1 classic and cool on PS2.
Considering this one looks far better than the previous ones, I know it will be good.
LOVE THIS GAME!!!
Xenoblade is doing just fine, the top competitors have the quality to be where they are.
Well, except "you-know-which-one," ; god only knows why so many people are wasting their money like that
Well that's what Square is throwing out there these days... you either like it or you hate it.
Too bad, it used to be you liked it or you loved it.
Hm... what does that say?
On the other hand, at least you're getting it. You acknowledge it is a good game ;)
Lol, that's why you save for the game before the release date is close, not during.
Of course, so many games released at once last fall it was hard to save anything...
Not the best market plan.
But best fanbase plan.
He has said before he wants this new TM to generate a huge fanbase, not huge cash, so they can later make a sequel that will generate huge cash. Why? Because as many TM fans as there already are, they are very few in comparison to the fanbase of today's games.
Smart guy, that Jaffe!
Only reason for PS3 (for me)
Yes there's tons of cool PS3 games, but this one's my reason.
jaffe said a LOOOOOOOOOONG time ago that it was changed back to M.
He said it felt silly to run over people and not see any blood, the violence seemed to silly with no blood squirts.
I hear ya
Well Doom is on its way, but it's too bad the new generation will think it's new, even though it's been around since 1994, and has always kicked a$$
Some guy corrected the article by saying there's lots of JRPG's now. True, and yes they have good quality, but not nearly great.
Square's been releasing good FF games, yes, but when the new is released, you drop the old. They haven't made a GREAT game since years ago. So no, this generation hasn't had a "new FF7," not even close, the author of the article is right about that.
On a separate note, I'm glad Twisted Metal's coming back...
Well the only thing that made Rage a bad game was the lack of reall story telling.
The graphics were fine, the gameplay was decent, and the buggy-as-hell release doesn't really show what the game itself is.
The game is great, and I am also waiting on DLC information.
You just KNOW that after this, a bunch of companies will start making knock-offs like they did in the past.
Some decent, like Vigilante8, others simply crap.
Hehe, I bet EA will cook something up, you know how much they love vehicles.
