I think it's funny how everyone is talking about the graphics. Truth is, even if the graphics in the next CoD do look life-like, the animations, the AI, and everything else will still be shit.
So it will be like seing a real life person moving and thinking like robots.
Developers need to focus more on AI, animation, and innovation. If you make a game that has nothing more to show off but hd textures and post-process effects, it's just a shitty game :/...

After that then maybe they'll make Quake5.
Although, I really miss Wolfenstein. Raven Software destroyed it, the new one from 2009 really blowed, even though the trailers looked so cool.
I hope idSoftware buys back the Wolfenstein title and reboots that as well.
Uhm... as a PC gamer I do care what gen the game is released on, because the newer the consoles are, the better the game will look, especially on PC.
But that said, I don't care if Doom4 is this gen, I just want to play it! I am very anxious to see Doom in a uniquely textured world >:D
