Most of the hate comes from ignorance or lack of patience, others just hate it to get attention. I guess some of the hate is a bit justified depending on what you want. The original scope of the game was significantly smaller than what we're getting now and if they had stuck to that then the game, or at least SQ42, would be out by now. So in that regard I can understand some of the salt.
Personally I'm glad that CIG decided to expand the scope of the game and do what they'...

I literally logged in just to downvote you. This is somehow even worse than "30 fps feels more cinematic".
You can be sceptical, you can criticize and complain that it's taking years to develop and what not, but if you honestly truly still believe that this game is a scam after all they've done and shown over the years then you're either a troll that chooses to be ignorant or you're simply a lost cause (or both).
You can play the game on 21:9 just fine with a few mods, I know I did. It's been a while since I've played the game so I don't remember what you have to do exactly but there are guides out there and it's easy to do.
Sigh, this game had the potential to be so much more. The gameplay was actually good but the horrible marketing killed it. It was fun while it lasted, I guess. Wish I had played it more while it was still alive, oh well...

My dude, first off nobody is forcing anyone to spend more money on this project. These shiny new ships? They're not dlc, they're not locked exclusively behind a paywall, they're just sold to increase funding but you'll be able to get them in game like normal. Are you going to tell me that it's wrong for a company to try and make money? I myself have only invested 32 euro and plan to get everything in game like normal.

Idk. On one hand she's definitely more squishy and I question if that damage nerf was really necessary in addition to the armor nerf. But on the other hand I'm still doing fine with her. Gonna have to play some more.

The only Socom game I own is Socom II and damn was that game awesome. I enjoyed playing it a lot. Sad to see them go. :(

But they changed Rayman Origins from downloadable to retail to compete with games like Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3, Batman, etc.
