Dice went woke and told people to not buy the game, so people didn't buy the game and they went broke. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You know, FF7 came out 23 years ago and not everyone played it back then and that's especially true today. There are many people who will be buying the remake without prior knowledge of the story (so it's essentially a completely new game for them) so putting something like "I hope Aerith lives" right in the title could be a major spoiler for many. I haven't played the og FF7 save for like the first hour and had no idea she dies until some clown spoiled it in the comment...
Now I have a picture in my head of Kratos fighting Jesus.
I wish they would port over Drakengard 3 as well, but this is nice too.
"Ultrawide support"
That's all I needed to hear. Putting this on my wish list.
They're planning to show off SQ42 at this year's Citizencon, meaning the marketing campaign for the game will officially kick off. If they can make the beta dealine for Q3 this year (seems they're really confident about it at least) then a Q1 2021 release might actually be realistic. Though I'm not really sure how long beta periods usually last for games this big.
Carrack hype.
The game itself was fairly good actually. What killed it was their garbage-tier marketing.
I hope they'll port over Drakengard 3 as well while they're at it. It's on sale right now and I kinda want to buy it but not without the story dlc which never goes on sale for some reason and cost freaking 30 euro...
A full remake of that game would be amazing but I don't expect that to ever happen. A HD port would already feel like a miracle.
Loved the Prince of Persia games, hope they'll make a return some day.
There was a former Rockstar dev that very briefly mentioned it once when he talked the games that he worked on. He said they worked on it for a period of time but nothing came out of it so they kinda scrapped it and moved on to other projects (I think GTA but don't remember which).
In any case I think it's safe to say by now that the project is dead.
I'm pretty sure the whole "Halo killer" thing was just fanboy war nonsense. I personally really enjoyed the game and that's all that really matters to me.
You're saying that as if that's a good thing that we should all accept and bow down to like a bunch of sheep.
$314.99... Yeah that price is way too high for a statue like this. Should at most cost 60% of that.
Ngl I just learned about this game and thought it looks pretty dope, but then I learned that it's a Switch exclusive. I'm sad now.
Don't worry, they'll figure out other ways to give you a sense of pride and accomplishment.
After Lawbreakers I find it hard to care about whatever he does in the future.
My first ever console, or gaming system in general. Good times. A bit sad I no longer have it.
50 games is nothing. I have close to 200 and that's just one steam. Out of those I have only beaten 10 in all these years. Then there are the other launchers and not to mention consoles. I have games from 2013 that I haven't even touched yet. e_e
Man if this was younger, lets say 12 year old me I'd probably clear this giant backlog in like a year time. Back then I played everything, these days I keep playing the same damn game over and over. ~_~
If by the off chance someone here isn't feeling salty and is actually interested in the game, you can sign up using this referral code:
