Oh please let it be good news
The VGAs are a joke, a sad unfunny joke
Let's see would a game all about freedom and exploration make a good movie?
In a word "No"
A TES movie set in Tamriel not directly bassed on any of the games, that could work. TES has a rich universe that could make a good background for a movie.
Well it's been doing it's best to stay as far away from gaming as possible.
There are some Anime that could make good games.
I would love to see a Cowboy Bebop game combining couver bassed shooting, Batman style brawlling and some arial dogfighting/space flight. You could take up side missions to raise money as you progress through the story. Get Cyberconnect2 on it their graphics engine would be great.
I could see a Hellsing game working as well combine Devil May cry combat with some sniping sections. It prctically makes it'...
DX11 is the best graphics API on PC and Windows since 7 has been going from strength to strength, with Win 8 said to lower RAM footprint of the OS better support multicore etc. There is no other company that could make an OS close to windows, Apple is the closest but they build ontop of Unix and have to limit the ammount of hardware it works on to match it and have much worse APIs than DX, even Carmack admits that OpenGL has fallen behind DX in a big way. Linux is to fragmented to compete and...
Well I can play it (without DX11) but do suffer from some slight stutter. Some people tho can't play at all apparently it's basically pot luck whether it will work on your system. Not being able to change any setting in game is annoying (Even to remap controls you have to quit the game first) and it takes 3-5 minutes to launch the game due to the broken DRM making it even worse.
The game in DX9 still looks great tho (other than the texture popin that is inherent in th...
didn't they announce Battlefeild 3 was coming to the Wii U at E3?
I was talking about this http://www.pcgamer.com/2011... which would be a perfect complement to this as it's meant to be used as like a console hooked up to a TV.
one word telss you all you need to know on the matter "mods".
The much shorter load times on PC don't hurt either.
Trully awsome game, and considering the relatively low budget the game should have already made a decent profit.
Their stance on DRM is one all PC gamers should support, no more of this stupid DRM that just hurts the people that actually buy your games when pirats get to download DRM free copies. Making pirated versions of you game a better experiance than buying is not going to sell you more copies and the DRM always gets cracked anyway.
Indie games are a good cure
This may be news to you but you can play most modern (non RTS/MMO) PC games with a 360 controller and you get the button prompts just like you would on a 360. Many PC gamers go as far as hooking their PCs up to their TVs and playing just like you would a console exept with better graphics and mods.
lol I see you edited your post, but yes the name is a bit stupid sounding, maybe it's just a codename?
Well I supose that next gen fusion CPUs will crush current consoles but will probably be outdated when next gen consoles show up. Still it's a decent price for the hardware and as long as Valve hurry up with that TV freindly interface this could be a good entry point for gamers that want a taste of the flexability and freedom offered by PC gaming. And if it's successful enough could act as a good baseline for developers to target for specs and may even allow some more console like opt...
yea, just like Skyrim uses a new engine...
That title makes no sense, it's talking about a game that hasn't been officially announced in the past tense...
As long as the game made money (which it already did) the piracy rate doesn't really matter.
Some quotes from the full interview
"We did not give up, but came up with new strategy: we started offering high value with the product – like enhancing the game with additional collectors’ items like soundtracks, making-of DVDs, books, walkthroughs, etc. This, together with a long process of educating local gamers about why it makes sense to actually buy games legal...
Lets see spend 5 million making a new engine for current consoles for a ~5% improvement in games or spend 6 million making a new engine for new consoles which will have a 400-600% improvement in games.
I know which one I would prefer
Once I realised that it's better to gust use the keyboard to navigate menues in Skyrim I started liking it more, not the only problem I have is the lack of sorting options and those confirmation dialogs that force you to use the mouse I mean WTF you make it so the interface is really crap with the mouse forcing you to use just keys then put up a dialog for crafting etc that can't be used with the keyboard?
Better not just be releasing the new downloadable game instead of the full game + DLC. Because that would be a kick in the nuts.
