Doesn't matter, bro. They already won this generation by leaps and bounds. They already have a new gen console coming out and will have an entire year headstart on MS and Sony (possibly two years on Sony).

Third-party dried up for Wii but look at how much support they're getting right now for the Wii U. They'll have a year or two of extra third-party support over Sony and MS. And it's pretty much guaranteed Nintendo will usurp market control this gen unless M...

WTF kind of article is this? If we can all play our cartridge classics by blowing the dust and green stuff out of them, then that's fine and dandy.

20 years from now the question will be: can we still play our Xbox 360 and PS3 games? I don't think blowing on an Xbox Live points card or blowing on a PS+ card will help a game work when PSN and Xbox Live are shut down.

Nintendo and Microsoft would have a several year sales gap between Sony and their new console.

While fanboys wouldn't mind waiting the market would be an uneven battleground with Sony desperately having to play catch-up. I know fanboys will say "It's Sony and they can easily catch-up", look at what happened with the Xbox 360 and Wii? While the PS3 caught up to the Xbox 360, they were in the red for the longest in order to do so and I don't even need to ...

How do we know you didn't find someone selling it on Kijiji and use that link because it has your initials?

I don't care what the AMD fanboys say. I need an Nvidia card for this game, I NEED IT!

Yeah Superman is the ultimate "child hero" (disagree all you want fanboys) and making a game based on him would have to be (early on) entirely story driven so you have a reason to care.

I also agree with the above comment by neogeo that the consoles aren't ready for Superman because he needs to be able to blast through buildings, pick up anything and wreck everything. It's kind of stupid if you fly over to pick up a boat or move a train and you can't...i...

That doesn't change the fact that there's nothing more that they can do with the series with the hardware limitations, unless they plan to sacrifice audio/visual fidelity, and I can tell you right now that they're not going to sacrifice graphics for gameplay.

You've nailed it, comrade.

That is pretty much the entirety of N4G and video game journalism.

The real tagline should be "Video game journalism, the only profession where you don't need to know anything to be a professional at it."

lol @YTPHaruko

if what you say is true it matches his name, HiddenMission.

Prime Objective: troll Capcom trollers and secretly market the game.

I also thought that's what the $60 went towards =/

Bubble boost brigade, perhaps?

OT: the Wii U's main gimmick is the interactivity between the GamePad and system, and since that wasn't what the PS3 was built for or the PSV, I don't see why people would even suggest that it's going to be a comparable feature to the Wii U. It's like fanboy talk as far as logic goes.

How the heck are they going to innovate on six year old hardware? Seriously? Someone explain to me where the extra power/resources comes from to add more physics? More on-screen vehicles? More on-screen enemies? A bigger weapon cache or larger environments when the hardware is capped?

I don't even bother with expecting innovation from console games anymore because until we get new hardware we've already hit the cap. To me, Halo Reach was the pinnacle of Halo for this ...

Dang, it feels like I'm going to run out of handing out bubbles in this thread. All these excellent, well thought out comments that actually bring forth discussion.

Am I still in N4G? Feels like some foreign, insightful place where intelligence is common and console wars don't exist. This must be the Twilight Zone...

The problem is that females coined "girl gamer" as some way to...I really don't know. Why does "girl gamer" as a moniker exist? I'm not sure what it achieves really.

I hate the term, actually. It's like the "gaymer" tag.

I mean, I don't need to know that you're a girl or you're straight or gay or black or asian unless that's just your gimmick. Otherwise, you're a gamer, call it a day, get pwned and...

People seem to think core gamers care about trends.

We care about getting our games in a convenient manner and owning them (or as much as we can own them).

Casuals will flock to cloud gaming like they flock to every fad, but core gamers will toe the line and keep gaming pure as we always have.

Kickstarter ftw.
Steam ftw.
Hard copies forever.

Ugh, even without those criminal data caps it's still crap.

They probably have extra surcharges and hidden fees for bandwidth use/etc.,

That's not to mention that they monitor what you download and how much. Yeah, I agree with RivetCityGhoul, I like the one time fees and actually owning my game.

This service via big corps is no different than always-on DRM. No thanks.
