The iPhone 4 was roughly $600 on launch. You're basically paying $300 for arcane hardware and a controller.
Well, that puts me and just about anyone else with a brain in the average tax bracket, out of the running.
Unreal Engine oughtta just be called Real.
Coming in here and doing it.
Holy shit.
Finally, a review that isn't just bashing it for being different from the first one. Not that I particularly like gametrailers or appreciate their views in most cases, I do agree here though.
AMD's just been coming in here and doing it lately with their latest GPUs. Good to know all that Canadian talent went to a good place.
Check out the Drakensang games. It's based on The Dark Eye, which is a German table-top game. It's one of the newer games that I'd consider similar to the old black isle games. It's party-based real time combat with pause and play functionality.
Also, check out the following:
Icewind Dale 1&2
Vampire: The Masquerade
Knights of the Old Republic
Neverwinter Nights
Dungeon Siege 1&2
and of course, Arcanum: O...
The game is really weird... but then again, so was Bayonetta, and that turned out GREAT.
Alot of people are saying this looks graphically inferior to Demon's Souls.
Apparently alot of people also need to get their eyes checked. Look at the level of detail in the environments, it looks really good. They've also added a wider range of colors. I'm really looking forward to this, maybe we won't need a new King's Field.
That one in particular is. Once again, play something else. All your complaining is for naught.
Didn't know cutscenes determined genre, by the way. Good information.
It is an RPG. If you think otherwise, go play Oblivion. Even if you think it's more of a first person hack and slash.
Good.
You do. The first game.
Mind you, if you like that genre, get into PC gaming. There's lots.
What's wrong with UE3 engine? UT3 itself was garbage but some incredible games were built on that engine. It's no IDTech, but come on guys.
You can't play DAII on higher than medium with dx9. Liar.
No more appropriate than Mafia, or any game that involves gangs.
Kings Field. I highly recommend it if you liked the desolate chilling atmosphere of DS. it also will give you a decent idea of what the next game will be like, as it is going to use the same open world concept.
Because one is a good game and one isn't.
I REALLY loved MoH Airborne's cover system. You had such a great level of control. I especially enjoyed being able to fire over and under obstacles, and controlling the degree to which I leaned.
And what incredible new features does the Play have to warrant the price tag? The iPhone 4 came with dozens of improvements over the previous model whereas the Play is just standard fare, especially in the hardware department.
