Well yeah, because if they say anything negative about the war they will go to prison.
So their options are:
A. Make performative statement that doesn't do anything and go to prison
B. Do not do that, keep making the game and don't go to prison
C. State that they are in support of the war, suffer severe backlash and gain ???
doesn't really take two fuckin brain cells to figure out why these guys aren't eager to p...
You guys published an article yourselves reporting that it wouldn't be.
What in the Fox News is going on with this reporting?
A question nobody ever asked
Well, it's either that or all the whiners actually pulled out their wallets in the end.
OR, OR. There's so few of this old guard generation left to complain about the lack of turn-based combat that there's literally no point catering to them, and the games do perfectly fine whether or not they do.
But regardless of whether or not they got lucky with FFXV, we still have FFXIV on the table. The best selling FF game is still an MMO that plays not...
Man, I've returned to N4G comments as a 34 year-old man and I am seeing the most decrepit, whiny, entitled and ultimately miserable old "get-off-my-lawn" types I've ever seen gathered in one place. I hope you all hate this game - and I say that with the best intentions. Obviously nobody is going to change your mind, so instead I offer steadfast encouragement.
You want to hate the game, so I hope that you get to. It's what you deserve.
Why, because he's right?
FFXV still sold 10 million copies.
The best-selling FF game is an MMO. Your intense feelings of nostalgia don't decide what is "really an FF game".
Yeah, the guy who produced and shipped the best-grossing Final Fantasy title of all time, an idiot. And you, a genius! They should just fire Yoshi P and put you in his place. I'm sure you'd ship the best selling Final Fantasy ever made, with your absolute luddite mentality towards modernity and change.
Just because you prefer something, doesn't mean it needs to be done again and again. Not every Final Fantasy game is for every fan. You prefer turn-based? That...
Hey, I created an account to post on here, (TricklessMagician was the username) and one of your admins banned me as "spam" for making a comment in a thread about Final Fantasy 16. The comment was not spam, and my attempts to dispute the ban went completely unanswered.
You are an AWFUL team with zero accountability and seemingly no desire to do better.
The fact that you don't mind those things is stupid. That's fine.
What I get from your argument is that you're willing to pick and choose what is okay to be accurate and inaccurate, while still claiming that you want a realistic simulation. What you've effectively said is that you don't want a realistic simulation, you just want YOUR version of it, which is totally fine with all of the aforementioned, until women are involved.. Dumb.
How about this - The developers should do the following:
-Remove the female generals from the game, since this is a realistic simulation of historical events
-Prevent players from winning battles that were historically lost by the side they are playing, since it's a realistic simulation and you shouldn't win battles that your side didn't historically win
-Prevent players from using strategies in specific battles that their side did not use
Part of the issue is that a lot of people just want The Witcher, in a cyberpunk world. Let CDProjekt Red make other games. (It's okay I promise)
When I was younger, I used to prolifically pirate games. But after sequels to games I enjoyed stopped being made, I started to realize my complicity something that was actually harming the developers making the games I wanted to play. I can agree with that. I'm not sitting here trying to argue for piracy, because that's not even where I stand.
However, looking at a situation like this pragmatically, if someone was going to say, buy a physical copy of a game for the...
At what juncture did I specify PS3 games? You're literally conjuring arguments. I don't even think there are more than 1500 PS3 games, let alone "thousands". But I'll even sidebet you that by the time a PS3 emulator is actually a viable thing to play games on, all those new copies of Uncharted you're talking about won't be around.
While I'm talking about things that you are wrong about, you're still wrong about "almost impossible&q...
Yes, you can find a copy of Uncharted new. Of course you can. But you're trying to apply that logic for literally thousands of games that don't exist new anymore.
Also something can be almost impossible. If it is very difficult to the point where it can barely be done, it's almost impossible. This is about emulation, not your poor grasp of the English language. Stay on topic.
You mean, support gamestop by buying a used console and game? Screw that. It's almost literally impossible to support the developers for most of the games that would be emulated, so just let these guys do what they want. It's pretty much for science at this point.
This author is clueless. Shadow Tower was certainly released to Western audiences (my entire family played that game). The sequel however, did not reach western shores.
Also, the original Shadow Tower didn't have any guns, and was very similar to King's Field games of the time. Shadow Tower was literally Demon's Spouls to Dark Souls, instead of having a sprawling, open world, players had to use the tower to get to different floors, which sort of served as as what ...
Lie.
Not only has it been announced that the Wii U will feature free online, every Monster Hunter game ever (excluding Frontier) has always had free online play. Gematsu is truly outrageous.
You know, I gotta say - back in the day console gamers thought 60 FPS was some decadent bullroar. "30fps is fine, I can't tell the difference". But now, everyone's had a taste of the 60 fps meat, and it tastes good. It's cool to see people not only come around, but collectively raise their standards.
We are finally at a point with console gaming where we can tailor our gaming experience to favor frame rate, or graphic fidelity - but that's the thin...
