Why do I suspect that somehow, Bobby Kotick has a hand in this?
No, you see, it's because at that point, they throw away the fanboy charade and for a single sacred moment, they unite as gamers. But only for that moment, then they revert back to being silly fanboys.
Personally, I hate macs, because I cannot game on them. Thus, I imagine other gamers would share similar logic. Who would stand behind a product that they can't even use?
Ah, good old Macs. Always have they been touted as the media-centric alternative to the PC- Oh wait, what's that?
Nobody said the Wii was dead.
You can still be alive and not have a soul.
Believe it or not, this is actually some of the most clever advertising I've ever seen.
It's neither. If you've ever played Baldur's Gate, NWN or more recently, Drakensang, it's more like that.
I would not have objected to running out and giving those kids the business end of my cavalry saber. It would be an act of Darwinism, at best.
Ultimate fanboys of their respective companies! Who would have guessed?
Enjoy.
vs Brazen double-pistol trash-talking
a classic example of east vs west.
"I WANT TO GET ONLINE... I NEED A COMPUTER!!!"
Okay there, Reggie. Go take some photos with your crappy DSi camera.
Finally, a developer that can take a few steps back and say "Underwater levels are a stupid idea."
As much as I love my 360, Turn 10 pisses me right off. All they do is sit and whine, whereas the GT5 devs just stfu and make a decent game without the trash talk.
You can bash the 360 and praise the PS3 all you want, but I'm sure most of you have consoles that are working.
My PS3, on the other hand, broke two weeks out of warranty, and I did not have the receipt for it (because I made the foolish assumption that like Microsoft, Sony didn't require the goddamn receipt, just the console's number), so customer service would not help me. Someone posted something about not needing the receipt, but obviously this wasn't the case for me.

"Yo AMD I'm really happy for you and I'mma let you finish, but PhysX is awesome."
basically
Clearly crappy shovelware and overpriced peripherals are the focus of gaming. Sony and MS obviously know nothing of the industry, merely attempting to push the envelope in terms of hardware, online community/play and a constant stream of triple A titles.
Silly MS/Sony, what a bunch of noobs.
This whole "strictly digital" thing, of course. I can see this being plausible some ways into the future, but just not right now. I think that Sony's getting careless given how taking the risk with blu-ray ended up paying off for them. Of course, I can imagine that they don't want to cannibalize their own market, so they figured they would release something like the PSP Go not as a successor, but more of a companion hoping to entice players new to portable gaming.

Sorry guys, but you can't white knight a dude.
