Vram doesn't stack.
Maybe it is time for video games to get two scores. One for gameplay, story, sound, etc. and a second for technical gameplayability, such as broken servers, random crashes, poor framerates, etc. For pcs, noting the specs would be important. YMMV, as they say.
I loved the remake of Doom, but to this day, the game still randomly crashes. Same goes for Arkham Knight, which now runs at a butter smooth 60 fps in 4k.
Shit, if I picked a point in time for MKX, i...
Wolfenstein new order and old blood > doom. Agreed. I bought none of them day 1. Dishonored 2 though, had to have it. It did not disappoint.

Not sure why I got disagrees ...
Killer Instinct @ over 60 fps also runs the game physics at the increased speed. Or it did. Not sure if it got patched or not. Doesn't get more American than MS.
Durante's dsfix unlocked the resolution and frame rate for dark souls on pc. It came with a couple weird jumping glitches, but was totally worth it.
As for DS2 durability, I wouldn't call it "unexpected" on consoles as the pc version was "broken" from launch. I thought it was a new gameplay mechanic thay forced you to fight bisses with 3 different weapons. #gitgud if you will. Also made you have to equip them, which slowed you down, or learn to s...
Right! Not to mention Nioh, Dishonored 2, The Last Guardian, FFXV, and Resident Evil 7 were also released in the past 6 months.
Never heard of Dominator ... living under a rock here.
Burnout 6, you mean?
Burnout
Burnout 2
Burnout Takedown
Burnout Revenge
Burnout Paradise
What I want to see in Bloodborne 2? Demons' Souls 2 and 3d Dot Game Heroes 2.
It was 15. Some areas were such a drag to get to the boss that I farmed the clean so I had a clear path to fight. This definitely made the game easier, not harder.
I have 2 980tis, so I have 6 gb of vram as it doesn't stack. If I play Doom and put the texture quality on Nightmare, the game crashes randomly because I run out of Vram. I believe you are referring to normal ram, of which I have 64gb, because why not, and I have seen page files hit 24gb. But yeah, 12gb is too much ...
It seems incredibly doubtful that volta will launch in Q3. Late Q4, like December, maybe. If it launches before October thoigh, I will eat my hat. As for the 2080ti coming "early" 2018, no chance of that.
680 - march 2012
780 - may 2013 - 14 months
780ti - november 2013 - 6 months
980 - september 2014 - 10 months
980ti - june 2015 - 9 months
1080 - may 2016 - 11 months
1080ti - march 2017 - 10 months
People will slap dark souls in the description of any game huh?
That was 2.1 hours of crashing and trouble shooting before I said "to hell with it!", for example.
On my steam account, I recently moved 5 games from my "will play" to "might play" and 20 games from "might play" to "not interested." Too many games, not enough time. Granted, unlike this author, I buy maybe 6 games/year day 1. The rest are humble bundles, steam sales, etc. I probably max out atound $700/year on software, instead of $7,000. I am looking to buy a 1080ti, but when I sell my 2 980tis its pretty much a wash.
Not sure how you got disagrees. I bought the THQ "going out of business sale" bundle from stram for $25 in 2012. It had 25 games, including darksiders 1 and 2. Also I receieved warmastered for free since I had the original.
This is the first game since probably ninja gaiden black where I'm actually playing through the NG+. By the end of soulsborne, I was ready for something new. Not sure what it is about this one that's kept my interest, but still loving it. Half way through the 2nd region of way of the strong.
I too, have an uncle ... go on ...
I threw out my colecovision a few weeks ago. Didn't work and idngaf.
