Maybe I'm being too literal here, but does physical game mean any base game whether delivered via a cartridge/Blu-ray or digitally, or does it exclude digital games? There are so many great games you can't buy a physical copy of.
If it means any base game, then damn. My backlog is insane but I still want that Mario RPG!
I already bought Diablo IV, and I hated FF13 and FF15. FFVIIR was OK, but I'd take Diablo IV over part two of FFVIIR any day.
It went for $75 at launch. People forget how SNES and N64 games regularly sold for $60-80/each.
Great games though.
Already preloaded!
Thought I already owned a remaster of this. One that was released in 2013 on steam. Am I wrong?
My new rig didn't have the option to add a drive. Would have to buy an external one, so using the PS5 digital is a fair comparison. My rig cost quite a bit more than that and I love it. Load times are on par with PS5 too, which is great given the architecture of the PS5 is amazing for the price.
I am not really familiar with the Xbox series consoles as I wouldn't buy one since I have a computer. But I'm sure it's beastly, as were the PS4 and Xbox One.
It's for Steam. Not for "Pixel" phones. They remastered the "pixels" I guess ...
Did you know there's a bonfire in sen's fortress? Because on my first 5 playthroughs, I did not. Boy did that bonfire give the courage to not need it on my 6th playthrough ...
I turned on cinematic mode in the Nexus and it felt more like 15 fps than 30 fps. Also, even in performance mode, certain areas (3-1) for example, appear to run at a lower frame rate. The game looks great in performance mode and overall runs much better than it's ps3 counterpart, so I am quite happy.
Cleared 1-1 and 3-1 with no deaths so far. This is my "fourth" playthrough. Doing easy mode though. Offline mage. Too cheap to pay for ps+ so here we are.
Ps5 came. Games did not. Luckily I was able to cancel those orders and they were in stock at a local best buy. Installing demon's souls now.
Supposed to get it tomorrow. Still don't have tracking information. Here's hoping!
Street Fighter II in 1993 was $75. Bought Turok in 1997 for $80. And with Street Fighter II, they released a "complete game" every year; Turbo and then Super, both of which cost $70+. I remember saying "wish I could just upgrade to the new version." I wished for DLC. Now that it's common place, people see it a plague. If you're that worried about getting the "full game" wait for a complete edition in the discount rack.
Just some sports games are included. No spider-man, demons or sack
They patched that ages ago. Steam games are a bit, finicky. Dark Souls 3 for instance use the axis in the DS4 as a mouse. I had to use DS4 to emulate an Xbox controller. That said, Xbox, Uplay and Epic all support the PS4 natively now.
Code. Veronica.
Did you make the mistake of not using the shield weapon too? Failure to grab and keep that makes you start back at level 5. It's infuriating.
Adventure Island. Anyone beat that one? Anyone?
They even mention farming xp. There's one spot with an easy enemy that gives 4xp. Think it took me 30 mins to level up enough for it to be a cake walk.
Unless we're talking loops 3+, contra does not belong on this list. Loop one I've done without losing a life.
And yes I am extremely biased as contra, super C and Contra 3: the alien wars are three of my favorite games.
Add punch out, Fester's Quest, Blaster Master, Solomon's key, and adventure island.
I cannot beat battletoads, Solomon's key or adventure island even with emulators and save states.
