The earliest remaster I can think of, is Super Mario All Stars. Also, I recall Ninja Gaiden Trilogy made cut scenes look better, chrono trigger/FF4 on PSX added cutscenes. My favorite remake was Resident Evil on Gamecube. Sure, there weren't a ton of them before PS3/xbox360, but there were some.
I think there were several instances of NES and SNES releases of the same game at the same time, so I don't count those. Battletoads Double Dragon for one.
Cool, I guess. Got to think not a single game has a texture pack in 8k. So, it is really just upscaling it to get rid of minor, unseen to most, "jaggies". Crysis 3 was solid at 4way x-fire. One of the few games that benefited from my second 6990.
With the 1080ti, I don't even play the 2-way sli/x-fire game anymore. Just wasn't worth the $ or hassle. Still, cool ...
On pc, i had to uninstall the game so I had room to download the patch. Took up 125 of my 300 gb ssd and i didnt want to uninstall any other games i have on it. Very annoying, but worth it!
I figured this article was going to explain Vram, shaders, frame buffer, memory speed, cuda cores, dx version, maximum resolution, hdmi and displayport versions, pci bus version, wattage ... but, make sure you know term "warranty." That's "war" "rant" "tee".
Idk about AMD, but with a 1080ti, I am currently getting around 40 fps in ghost recon 4k, max settings. The 970 is not meant for 4k gaming.
It's my favorite in the series. Know I am likely alone in that opinion, but it was one of the first games I could beat that my older brother couldn't.
I tried post earlier and it didn't go through, but I have the following programs tagged to my task bar:
1. Steam
2. Battle.net
3. Origin
4. Uplay
5. GOG
6. Whatever I am playing the quake beta on
This is not an issue.
If it was on the windows store though ...
Whatever, the souls games are just zelda clones anyway.
Thought it was Demons' Souls. Multiple demons, multiple souls, not the many souls of one demon ...
If the game is behind schedule, sure it needs to be delayed to be fully fledged out. That said, it being behind schedule is not a good thing. If it released tomorrow and was perfect, you could wait a few months and purchase it for a lower price (though likely not much lower, see GTAV).
Up is down
Left is right
Light is dark
Cruel is kind
Good is evil
NO!
In addition to not having a physical copy of most games now, PC gamers, by and large, have also been able to purchase games at a lower cost than their console counterparts (1-4 weeks after launch). This is due in part to not having to produce something physical, and not having to pay the console licensing fees. Got to assume Nintendo will still charge $60 for most games.
If people want this, why not sell it? I see no harm here, but it doesn't interest me one bit.
Impressive given that I haven't seen it below $30.
Non-starter for most. I am willing to bet that anyone who wants a switch already has a wii or a wii-u with access to a virtual console. Not really a good reason for not including it, but doubt it is hindering sales. Also, VC game prices are outrageous. There, I said it!
A hard mode is a welcomed change. Only time i died in SOM was when I tried fighting 3 unique orcs at the same time. Looking forward to it!
That's 5 months away. No way they hit it. If it was a 2 month launch window I "might" believe it. See you in 2018!
Mario and Halo were video games "first." Witcher was not. There are a milliok star wars video games. Would I expect to see "Netflix annouces star wars series" to be "video game news"? No. Now if they annouced a battletoads show, I would expect it, because it had only been a video game. See the difference?
It was a book, then a video game and now a tv show. Probably splitting hairs, but is this "video game" news? I could see if it was a mario, zelda, sonic, kratos etc show. But that is not the case. Wouldn't expect to see a "dungeons and dragons" making news here despite countless D&D video games.
Probably just me though.
Better not require an internet connection. Hated that about run.
I no longer care about resolution and frame rates because my 1080ti runs most games at max 4k 60 fps :-) :-) :-).
Gone are the days of me spending hours tweaking sli profiles. Sure, ghost recon wildlands on max I get 40 FPS, but man, is that game pretty. Been a while since I aimlesslessly wandered in a game (see witcher 3).
To each their own though. I never use my handhelds so I can't relate to those who love them. And Link's Adventure was my favo...
No, I am sorry. It was outdated when it was annouced. It has the Tflops of a 980ti. When the XBOX was annouced, I had 2 of them. So for games that utilize it, I would have up to 2x the power. Not to mention my pci-e SSD, i7 X CPU, Ram, water coolers, etc. I now have a 1080ti, so now this console can't even come close.
Remember the xbox 360's red ring of death? I member! Haven't bought a microsoft system since.
That said, if it means that MS pu...
