IV, is my favorite overall and has my favorite story, fake out deaths aside. If the final chapter was just those 5 characters, and all their friends were dead or crippled, i think it plays a lot better. Having all but Tellah alive and about zaps some of the urgency.
XII had my favorite battle system.
X had my favorite level system.
I is the first i played (know that is not the case with everyone) so it holds a special place.

Just hope the issues aren't as bad as the last boss fight in crysis, or act 3 in the witcher. Holy shit those were painful!
No "Path of Exile"? How did that not make the cut?
OOT was, and always will be, an over rated, slow, clunky, and most of all annoying game.
Link to the Past is hands down the best zelda game. Followed very closely by the oh so popular Link's Adventure.
I am dead serious too.
Too many games, can't be going back and replaying all the classics.
I recently replayed doom and doom 2 in anticipation of DOOM! I also re-purchased all the quakes (could only find expansiom discs)
I replayed deus ex before i was going to play human revolution and never got around to human revolution ...
I purchased all the tomb raiders after playing the reboot, but didn't replay a single one of them.
... the struggle...
Tell me, can you "beat" the games of yore? Think pacman, frogger, donkey kong, etc? No, people just chased high scores. It was fun and competitive.
Then came atari and some games that could be beaten. However, Nintendo really put it over the edge with games that had an end and the score chasing games faded away. Now they're back in many ways, but the "traditional story driven games" still exist and are still my favorite.
The performance gain for Nvidia is basically non-existent, but is drastic for AMD. Hoping they figure out the drivers soon ... salty, as always :-).
As a current owner of 2 980tis, I am questioning DX12's validity already:
1. Ashes
2. ROTTR
3. Gears
All 3 run worse on Nvidia hardware than AMD. Also, no SLI support for Gears is just piss poor given that DX12 was being hailed as the unifier that could make a rig with both an AMD card, and an Nvidia card, work in harmony! What a joke!
Waiting for those 4k benchmarks.
Sometime in 2013, i think.
I got maybe 2-3 hours in Alan Wake before I got bored with the gameplay. NBD though since I bought it for $2-3 a while back. I hear people love it. Was it just the story people liked, or did the gameplay get better as you went?
Fix Gears of War and I will beleive MS knows what they're doing. Until then, I am not buying any of their products.
I know this is F2P, but still ...
Not sure that qualifies as "big news" but that'd be just like them!
Womp womp waaaaaahhhhh!
Not sure why PC is tagged here. They made it clear that they don't give a fuck about the PC community.
Agree. I assume most of the people bitching aren't going to buy the product anyway.
But, think about the children!? /s
They ran Crysis 3 beautifully, but so few games work with 2 GPUs, nevermind 4 ... don't think I will ever run more than 2 GPUs ever again.
My upgrade cycle has been 3 years for:
CPU
Motherboard
TV (that i use as a monitor)
Ram
Mouse and keyboard
Power supply
Every 18 months for GPUs
And I have the same hard drives i had 5 years ago, but I have added SSDs and I had a PCI-e one for a while. My old motherboard and last set of GPUs are still in use. The older ones are sadly collecting dust ... who wants 2 water cooled 6990s?
Hoping they actually fix the hitching. It is awful.
We need a "Super Mario RPG 2".
So, I won't be able to run it @4K then? :'(
