Sounds awesome! Got to think the bosses in dark souls, controlled by a human, would be way OP compared to one human. 1 v 3 would be more fair, like evolve or left 4 dead.
Agreed. And contra: hard corps "contra's sequel." This author does know there were other contra games, right?
Witcher 3 even on deathmarch is a joke. I was killing ??? level enemies from the jump. Granted, i had to wipe for a half hour ...
That said, the souls series is very manageable. All games today are. However, some of the mechanics in the souls series are infuriating. Like when I killed Eingyi with arrows from a distance. I was a pyromancer so that was upsetting.
Also, that mother f***er yurt killed all my NPCs on my first playthroigh of demon's souls.
...
No argument here.
I preferred Shani too ...
"Witcher 1 Triss" gets no love?
@FlyingFoxy
I am chasing that dragon! Got an r9 295x2 late 2014, and upgraded to 980ti sli about 8 months later for 4k, since it supports hdmi 2.0. Debating going for 2x 1080s, or waiting for the 1080ti or 1180. All depends how much my home renovation project is going to go over budget. #adultingishard
@2pac
Depends on the game. Far Cry 4, ROTTR, Dark Souls 3, MGSVTPP, Witcher 3 (no hairworks), Crysis 3, AC Syndicate, yes.
GTAV, Witcher 3 (hairworks on full), Gears of War Ultimate Edition, Arkham Knight, any game that doesn't support SLI, no.
Kind of a crap shoot at the moment.
You out your mind? Ever play a multi-plat on ps4/xbone and then play it @4k 60 fps on pc? Didn't think so.
Continue enjoying your sub 30 fps 1080p/900p experience on console. Blighttown isn't a "blight" on performance on pc thanks to durante and his dsfix mod. The pc community is always pushing the limits of pc power in games through mods. Skyrim, GTAV and Witcher 3 are testaments to that.
No games ... get real.
Still no SLI or X-fire support. Am i confused or was DX12 supposed to make programming for multiple GPUs easier? If that is the case, are these devs just lazy? So far i think just ROTTR is the only dx12 game that supports it.
I've been a pc gamer since I was 4. We didn't have any fancy pantsy GUIs back then. Just good old DOS! Today there is so much more information, and parts are much easier to obtain than even 20 years ago. No more computer shows to buy the GPU you read about in a magazine, but wasn't sold at your local department store.
We live in pretty good times! I just have an upgrade problem. I have 2 980tis and i'm i am contemplating getting 2 1080s ... i was on an 18 mo...
Awesome! I was getting 30 fps @4k steady in the beta so this is encouraging.
😭
Food, water and maybe shelter are needs. Everything else is meerly a want. Thanks captain obvious!
Crysis 3 scales so well though! I get a beautiful 60 fps with my 980ti sli setup. Going to hold out for either the 1080ti or 1180. Depends on how bad dx12 gets ... been disappointing so far.
Yes, but I was only here to get directions on how to get away from here ...
I stopped caring about what Ninendo does a long time ago. One game, no games, no shits given.
My backlog is big enough to keep me busy for 5 years at least. I will get to work on that!
How about some 4k benchmarks with the 1080. We all assumed it would run 1080p just fine.
The game is 4 years old and only had 1 expansion. If it feels stale thre are plenty of other games in the same genre that can fill the void. Path of exile, for example is amazing and free. It also just got another update back in March.
