And still watch it consume market share.
I've created folders before and made the made a folder to put the ps now games I want to jump back into quickly. I guess what I'm looking for is just to make the icons small much like how you can make the icons smaller on a PC desktop. Make it a little cleaner. Maybe I'm just weird. I'm good with that.
If it's one think I have a complaint with PS4 is the user interface. If they could scale it down so that it wasn't so big and in you face, perhaps a similar scale to the PS3 xmb. That along with the PS Now interface which I use often on both PS4 and PC, it could be scaled down smaller too. That is all.
Free advertisement for Mountain Dew and Doritos.
Even the flops sold to those who saw interest in them because the variety was presented versus no chance at all.
Agreed. Sony has been consistent with the exclusive spotlight since PS1.
That's why they call it a risk. Why would Microsoft try to waste it's money on something when they can let big brother Sony try it first and see how it works out?
One can argue that the other VR headsets that are out there are in the same boat. They have sold less than the PSVR but how many gaming PCs are out there versus PS4s? The Google option seems like a fad to my 8 and 9 year old. Not much of an interest there. The wife and I are very keen on getting a PSVR though because it's something the whole family has experienced with and enjoy. Borrowing my brother's Rush of Blood is probably her favorite while Farpoint is one of mine. I told her we...
I think even with the hardware difficulty for developers, the largest enemy of the PS3 was it's price. Even though the multiplats we're being favored by 360, I think Sony exclusives is what kept PS3 in the fight.
I'll want to try the family account setup. See if it's improved. I find it a little annoying that if I create an account for my son or daughter I have to tie it to an email account other than my own. I wonder if by doing so they can have a better account of how many actual kids are online to help modify their crossplay statement they mentioned before where they have no way of protecting those customers. This way a parent can establish rules on the child's account about online gami...
It would make sense that even if this is similar technology that the Xbox One X would have more games at Native 4K as it's all new hardware and should. I mean it's launching after PS4, Xbox one, Xbox One S, and PS4 Pro. It's just like if PS5 comes out. We wouldn't get it if it backtracked to Wii graphics. I'm interested to see how it competes this Holiday with PlayStation's fan base and Nintendo's new Switch and exclusive titles. Will power over exclusives prevail ...
We'll find out in about 5 to 10 years how much "winning" Microsoft is doing. Meanwhile, for those of us who have games, game on.
Had no idea this was coming to VR. Probably the reason why it's taking a while. But if gamers can essentially build their own games and then share it. That's awesome.
I just want a VR patch. Seriously guys. Let's make it happen.
I'll have to check online to see what else drops on 7 November but so far I know HZD: The Frozen Wilds DLC will combat the new console. I could only assume a price drop for PS4/pro the week prior.
I think Cross-Platform would be nice with just the right game. Nothing as boring as Minecraft, though. I could maybe see this being a thing on PS5. I really don't expect it on PS4. And even then I bet Sony waits until they think it's enough demand. Or they make they're own title available for multiplat. Remember Microsoft bought Mahjong. Who's to say paternering up with that now isn't a bad idea in the future. I guarantee they have discussion about it though.
If they do a PlayStation Retro it must simply be this.
1) A console that plays PS3, PS2 and PS1 discs. All ps Vita and psp games some how. 2) Able to connect to ps store to digitally download games.
3) I would say Dual Shock 4 only
4) Blu-ray playback would be nice but might be cheaper if not included.
5) 500 gigabytes minimum hd.
6) $299 or less.
That would take some inspiration, creativity and risk. What say you Microsoft?

I think it's more about balance. Having a good balance of multiplatform and exclusive games that has the PS4 doing well. Then you also have the power advantage granted not matching PC standards but your economy console price to power balanced hardware. So PlayStation maybe didn't get the largest market share of Online enthusiast players, or single player audience, or a certain age range of players. They just got a little from everywhere which adds up to t...
It'll build.
