So they want a PS Now service too? What? Get out. All Sarcasm aside. Bring it on Microsoft. Keeping Sony on their toes that way us gamers prevail.
This article is all assumption and no substance. There's no news here at all. Why would Sony want PlayStation gamers log online with an Xbox Live account. There is zero sense there. Zero. Only legit third party titles should apply, Ubisoft, Activision, EA, Rockstar. Not Mahjong owned by Microsoft.
I wonder how many VR titles will get enhanced for Xbox One X?
I think it would at least be beneficial for gamers to be able to adjust the settings on their consoles. To be able to select optimal support for 4K 2K or 1080P or even less. Alternatively be able to choose 60fps, 30fps or something in between. Maybe for Horizon Zero Dawn you want that 4K throughout. And with Call of Duty you want 60fps. With graphic degredation of course. Even on console you should be set to the standard the manufacturer defaults to.
I don't think I've every been this excited for a Spiderman game. I'm pretty stoked. Can we get this to come out in May at least?
I would assume it could be similar to Batman's grappling hook mechanics. They've just got get the boost and pull and leaps and swings down just right.
I can imagine some slippage into 2019 on some titles but I think the ones that are safe is God of War 4, Spiderman and Days Gone.
Right, almost like a Smallville approach. His abilities don't unlock until learned by story driven events. And he has to learn to control his abilities and find tune them. Superman vision perk 1 - 4 kind of set-up. A skill tree full of upgrades. Hell I can make this game. Where's my application?
I think they can tier difficulty throughout the game with match supervillain strength or traps and attacks that knock out or suppress Superman. Or a goal would be to prevent collateral damage mostly to innocence lives. Another way is for other villians and enemies to harness the science of cryptonite and Superman has to use different techniques to combat those threats. I think it's possible. Yeah let's do it.
As a PlayStation guy I think the competition would be so much fun. 3rd party games could be played competitively or cooperatively. I think there is a huge incentive for this. Xbox guys inviting a PlayStation guy to take out a neat of zombies. As long as it's true 3rd party and no strings attached.
I think Cross-Platform play would be neat but I think they need to be legitimate 3rd party deals. Not having to log in with Xbox live or PSN account. Just to log onto your console or PC for Destiny 2, COD, or Battlefield and just play. It would be intriguing to see other systems show up as factions and their population and dominance. Leaderboard stats. Be able to compete and be cooperative on games especially MMOS. It would be fun.
I want some Skyrim VR. Most wanted.
Well I if Sony drags out bringing the PS5 out until 2023 then I suppose I can get me a PS4 Pro slim by then as I'm still rocking the perfectly fine launch model. But I find doubt in them waiting that long. Reason why? PSVR. If they continue to support and improve the technology then maybe PS5 will be all balls extreme 4K and maybe PSVR 2.0 will be capable of 2K resolution. Who knows.
Finally. Also I would have to admit, I really don't think these shows are for the casuals. To me casuals are the aunts and mom's chatty Kathing with each other on the phone while simultaneously shopping on Amazon deals considering what to get for their husbands or some. Not to say they're not shopping for girl gamers either I should add. I think it's the hardcore who tune into these events because they have too and want to know what's coming up next.
Noobs. This is why you go to PS Blog, YouTube or good gaming news sites to pick up on the details. A presser is nothing more than an overview. Sometimes at E3 and PSX they do breakout sessions to discuss specific games or other PlayStation related subjects. You drag it out to long with details you begin to lose the audiences focus. The hour or so they had at PGW was perfect.
Fear not. Pick up that Axe and do what you do best. Annihilate!
Which begs the question, was Microsoft at Paris Games Week? I ask in all honesty. I figured the week prior the release of their new 4K box they would have had their own show and maybe gain some footing in their second most popular fan base. Maybe some hands on? I just don't get it. I mean if they were there then my white flag goes up. I'm not getting the hype level at all. I got rid of cable to no more commercials to track. It just seems odd that their presence for Xbox One X is less ...
Well if anything they got your attention. But most of us gamers are watching this trailer and we're actually more focused on the hints of what is being said, the key words. The characters and the setting. The graphical realism. The violence is a non issue for most of us because we get it there are bad guys. But what this article does and others like it is broaden and stretch out the scene longer that what is intended. Repeating over and over of what happened and how it offended you. Mean...
Oh the clash. Things are going to get good. They have established 6 February for Shadow of the Collosus. Secret Of Mana 15 Feb. Far Cry 5 27 Feb. I'm thinking a March 6th appearance should bode well.
Maybe they just need a bigger box for all that had XXX Box One X.
