I think an honest review of any game judges that game and that game alone. Not comparing past iterations of games or the competition. That being said. I makes me want this game really bad.
It wouldn't matter if the Xbox was made in America or Asian or Europe. Your going to not invest in an empty console if it is empty. Talented, artistic, and story telling backed studios is what defines quality. The patience to exercise that marathon or quantity production versus sprinting to make the latest a greatest hardware as if that's the answer. And at the end of the day you still have that choice. Play that Xbox if that's what makes you happy.
All Microsoft wants is as many as devices possible sold that has Windows 10 on it. Heck if they can get Microsoft Office on it as well I'm sure they would. I think this is just their way for people to pay $500 for Windows 10 OS. Games? Sure if someone else makes them. Why would we pay employees to do that and lose money in that direction. Except for Halo Gears and Forza which keep customers anchored in hopes of something new and phenomenal like Cuphead! All so that we can sell more damn W...
MS would have to have some 1ST Party Studios pump out some beautiful looking classic turn-based RPGs or RPG in general that appeals to a general audience to include Japanese lore. Spells, summons, casting. Fable was probably their closest to succeed globally. Shooters and Racers and shooters. Have their limits.

Very interested in PSX and Paris Games Week. Hope 2-4 new game announments come out between those two events.
I'm not one to usually dwell in the complainy pants department but I would not be upset if the updated or brought on a new move 2.0 controller. Something with the shape of a phaser, and instead of a plastic ball just the same material on the DS4. If they can mimic the layout on the left and right side of the DS4 and fit it all on two move 2.0 controllers I can rock that.
You're probably right Moldy. I hope future updates to the game unlocks more content to include VR. I'm getting a DriveClub vibe with the way this game is getting reviewed. More playable though and plus VR.
Agreed. I don't have one and have only used one a couple settings from my brother and it is an addicting experience. Love it. I beat Rush of Blood. The Batman game. Some Farpoint. I'm a little scared to play Resident Evil 7 but might have to put my big boy underwear on and give it a go. Soon I will buy one. Soon.
Yeah for those that struggle with motion sickness are at a huge disadvantage when playing VR and having to walk. I thought though that Farpoint had good controls even playing on Dualshock 4 is was engaging and fun. The wife took one step towards a cliff and was like nope I'm done lol.

I stopped at level 50 because of the cap for fear of wasted xp trying to finish the game. I will get Frozen Wilds and its officially the last expansion I will then beat it and probably even game plus mode it. Also hope they are working on a sequel. Maybe even other character options or a Fighting Class option. Alloy is essentially and Archer. Would like to see the ability to train as a Marksman with guns, rocket launchers and grenades. Or a Warrior type with a massive Robot Crushing Warhammer...
I'm always ready for the best Gran Turismo. This should be fun. I hope the unlock more options for VR mode. But I'm would to give Tour mode a a shot for sure. Also this may be like a first baby step on PS4 before Gran Turismo 7 shows.

My fear with the Xbox One X is it's lack of advertising. Here it launches in 3 weeks and I don't see it advertised as much as Sony or Switch games. Does the consumer really no what they are getting themselves into when they see it in stores when they see this new system without a new Halo or Gears. They will see Forza I guess and maybe that's enough.
Definitely interested to see how this Holiday season turns out. Last year consumers we're conflicted with 3 new hardware pieces from Sony, PS4 Pro, PS4 Slim and PSVR. Now all consumers of PlayStation enthusiasts will have to worry about is Software. And Sony as of now is purposely holding out big guns like GOW 4 and others outside of the competition of the third party deals they have so games like COD and Battlefront get the stage it needs. Where as Gran Turismo is almost Guaranteed to be...
I would just sit there cry about it. It's a preference. Some people love it even if it's for the attempt at getting Sony and developers to gain experience.
I'll consider that both a jab and a at a boy towards Sony. At best it was a risk and as of their latest PS Blog post the intend to support it give their announcement of 60 games between now and early 2018.
