I'm not so sure.

The Last of Us Remastered - 5.86 mil
Infamous First Light
DriveClub - 2.36 mil
Little Big Planet 3 - 2.0 mil
So with 2013 being launch week the big multiplat was Destiny and the limited designed consoles. But even to the games dislikes peop...
Uncharted 4. Nearing 10 million in under 2 years. That's 14% of the install base. But factor in that PlayStation has multiple exclusives that have sold 1-2 million throughout the generation. Not just a few. Quality, Quantity, Variety and consistency is what you get for PlayStation. That is the truth.
"Sony is somewhere else. Who knows." Haha. To pretend to know nothing only exposes you. Sony has the install base that much you do know. And with that with games like COD and Fifa comes out even if it's not your style of game, PlayStation gets 50% or more of the market share easily. While exclusives like Uncharted 4 are nearing 10 million in less than 2 years is what keeps PlayStation gamers waiting patiently for the Loot of games coming in 2018.
You can probably save this article and use it again next year. Just change the date. Because you can almost bet Sony again will have it's Exclusives shine in the first several months of 2018 and let one or two slip into 4Q/Holiday 2018. Like always the big multiplats land there. This is Sony's tactic. Even Microsoft took note and and is releasing Sea of Thieves in March, subject to any change. What probably isn't mentioned here because it isn't public news yet and probably won...
Remember everyone there is a reason why they call this is an opinion piece. Love what you game on and play games. All I can say.
I'll have to check that. I haven't noticed any ads. Maybe I have it turned off somewhere.
@Smoke91 I can admit my kid had to sit thought those updates too. Even the PS3 ones. But once he gets sightly mouthy about it I tell him either have some damn discipline or shut it off. The crying stops pretty quickly.
Well to be I'll informed sucks. I like rest more on the PS4. Seamlessly do updates while you're not even home. With games these days it's an extra step to be aware of. Before you really want to play, slap the disc in and let it do it's updates. Meanwhile Netflix and chill.
I'm glad the PS4 is doing so well this generation. PlayStation has delivered on it's promise of it's games. I'm perfectly content waiting for whenever PS5 comes together. I'm sure Sony is thinking about Gamers, Developers, VR, the Switch and Power all at the same time. All in a discussion board. I don't expect anything new before 2019. And when it does come out I think Sony will be very minor of it's install base. Is see in 2019 to 2021 PS4/Pro/PS5 existing in the ...
Unless we can get a Final Fantasy 7 Remake and The Last of Us 2 to come out before that. Gangbusters.
2018 release?
@ XMessiah23x
It wouldn't really matter. The NFL and myself are on a hiatus relationship at the moment and they go have in hand with the beloved Microsoft. I'll stick my OG PS4 where the variety and exclusives are at. 🎮
Gran Turismo Sport is really hard to guess if this was Polyphony Digital's plan or Sony's. To test this new method or Gran Turismo without calling it 7. Maybe they had better success with calling these test title prologue than they had anticipated. I don't think Gran Turismo Sport will be an overwhelming flop though as I'm sure it'll reach at last 2 million lifetime. Maybe this was a test and message to Sony that PlayStation fans still likes Single player experiences. And ...
It's funny, I don't remember PlayStation advertising either of their consoles in a commercial. They shed more light on the actual game or games if it's a compilation.
Now that they just sold through all those $189 Xbox One S. Oh what you got there isn't good enough, pay more money.
PlayStation gamers don't NEED the Pro as much as Xbox gamers need the X. The base PS4 is good enough as it is. I believe the Pro will catch on more a pricing continues to decrease. One if these days there's going to be a $149.99 PS4, $249.99 PS4 Pro and a $399.99 to $499.99 PS5. All of which will appeal to gamer's budgets differently. All of which will support PSVR. All of which get PS Exclusives plus 3rd party.
I would bet that they're anywhere around 30% complete with the everything game. By this time next year probably 75% leave a 25% left for completion, polishing and marketing. Ready for a Holiday 2019 release. They've got all the time in the world while we play what's coming out in 2018. Do what you got to do Naughty Dog.

That's cool. One of the best replies I've gotten on here. I think personally I can take or leave Digital purchase. I mean I still very frequently buy the physical because it's the norm or it's gifted. I'm okay with digital purchases too as I have my 3 TB external hard drive as my primary storage device and it's very convenient and reduces the load a lot of whatever goes on the PS4 Itself.
With the purchases too I would agree with you t...
Why the difference? Why not just digital purchase to your PS4?
Nicely stated.
