I think the audience just needs a release date. People are preordering this title the most aside from Monster Hunter World and Red Dead Redemption 2.
Examples like this is why PlayStation has stated they currently don't have the ability to protect gamers of certain ages from this. You can't package a game like this Rate E for everyone and with social online interaction for there not to be vulgarity and profanity. Once filters are in place so that PlayStation can better protect gamers of certain ages then I think Cross-Platform play will become a bigger thing. I could be entirely wrong here but it does make sense.
I feel kind of like a jerk I beat Beyond 2 Souls and have barely made it halfway in Heavy Rain. And now the backlog thickens. This will eventually come back to me. Right now working on platinuming the newest need for speed.

I think this mentality is the accumulation of game developers omitting local Co-op out of their games. I believe there is a strong market for single player games. You can't look at Uncharted, Horizon Zero Dawn, Zelda BotW and Super Mario Odyssey and say they weren't successful. But people still like to play with each other. I think the local Co-op as it has left gaming opens that trap to almost have to play online. To almost have to buy 2 PS4s or Xboxes to play with someone else in yo...

I think too many people are quick to judge Sony in their concept on remasters and remakes but just look at Crash Bandicoot for example. Having sold over 3 million copies physical at this point there is definitely a market for it. I'm excited to see how Shadow of the Collosus does as I've never played it while it was on PS2 but did beat Ico.
Yeah. I can understand a game being expensive to make. The motion capturing of AAA games can take more time and resources than copy and paste a bunch of joe shmoes to fling bullets at. But I believe corporate heads also have a say in this. Meaning you will make this game Multiplayer and online and Gaas so we came make more money off of our mediocre install base. Interesting tidbit. I think Sony saved their money on the PS4 Pro. Simply put it out for those with 4K tvs. And to not separate it's importance from the base PS4. Hmmm. Cool stuff. Once Final Fantasy 7 Remake is complete, it would not hurt my feelings one bit if they could at least Remake 8 and 9 and maybe even the original. The only worry I have along with other companies following through, is what happens to the potential of Sea of Thieves? If released on Game Pass, Subscriber's pay the $10/month to play Sea of Thieves versus going to the store and buying does the developer get the most out of their game? If they don't will sequel be made? Or is this where the loot boxes come into play? All I'm saying is is it fair to the developers of Sea of Thieves? Shouldn't Microsoft release this on Game pas...
